Think he is making $750k and his contract is up, and I guess they haven't tried to keep him.. Just what I saw

Marshall job has always been a tough gig.
You're not in a state with alot of prep talent, but their fans expect to win alot.
Look at what they did to Huff's predecessor, Doc Holiday.
He's probably leaving town before they get to him.
Sort of what Frank Haith and Rick Barnes used to do in basketball.
Having said this, I think Huff has done a pretty good job at Marshall.

Nebraska: Per multiple reports, Matt Rhule is working to bring back former Huskers staffer Phil Simpson to coach the edge rushers. Simpson, who played for Rhule at Temple, spent the 2023 season in Lincoln in a defensive quality control role and spent this past fall on the support staff at Florida State. Sean Callahan notes that Simpson would join the staff as early as Monday to begin bowl practices.
