What the **** is the difference when the change from CB to S happens? If anything the change at the NFL level might be harder.
Its honestly a stupid hill to die on. You're trying to make the point that we haven't had guys that have successfully made the switch from CB to S. Your entire point is trying to say that we shouldn't move a CB to S. So ANY example of guys going from CB to S, regardless when, disproves the point you're attempting to make

I don't care enough and this is my last post to you as I'm placing your dumb self on ignore right after this...only you stupid idiots on this board would think I'm talking about all DB's in the history of life and not just those from the university of miami. I am even clarified it further that I was ONLY referring to UM DB's and you village idiots are still here thinking the same thing. Like who in the **** thinks that way and we are here discussing UM football. Again..you think I don't know NFL HOF's like Ronnie Lott, Rod and Charles Woodson and even our very own Antrel Rolle went from cb to safety at a high level in the NFL, so did Eugene Wilson for the Patriots???? Whose walking around thinking like this besides the idiot Miami fans on this board? You dudes are simpletons at BEST! I don't have to explain it out...you are ESE.

My point is simple: The kid needs to stay at the position he's being planned to be coached at. It makes zero sense for him to play cb (not nickel) for 2 years and then move to Safety when we don't even know how he will play at CB. If it's a situation like Redwin where it allows him to get on the field bc he won't at CB then it makes sense.......It's sad that I really have to explain this type of **** to simpletons like you that pollute the board.

The sad part is you really think you have some serious point. You're a clown.

And The fact is I pointed out several instances Former Canes themselves had made this switch successfully, and all you've done is explained it away by saying Bennie Blades never played cb, which isn't true, and that NICKEL is Safety which is retarded, and acting like you always meant solely while here. I get a 425 is basically 3 safeties on the field. But you can't just ******* call EVERY Nickel Back a ******* safety. The ONLY reason you're saying that is because they did make the switch to safety. If Trajan Bandy makes the switch to safety, are you going to say he was always a safety? Fact is Brandon Merriweather and Jaquan Johnson both started their careers here at nickel and moved to safety. You can say they were always safeties all you want, but I guess you gotta call every nickel corner a safety then, otherwise you're just being a hypocrite.

What several canes meet the criteria I layed out? Bennie Blades wasn't a ******* CB at Miami...you know what.......let's say I played this idiotic game and accepted that as some sort of truth about Bennie. You think what happened with Bennie 33 freaking years ago has any relevance today? This how STUPID you people are.

Then you further show how moronic you are when you further bring up players that played nickel. Nickel isn't a got **** CB you clown...nickel can be classified as a "DB" but you don't even know that. Those of us that coach for a living call it what it is...NICKEL..that's it.

I don't even care about the rest of the **** you wrote bc you are a waste. Your mom should've swallowed you.

Go away

And you telling us Al Blades Jr. is a dynamic safety? Not that you think his tools may translate to that...But that he "is a dynamic safety". Does that work over here? Almost every bit of film I've seen on him he is at corner

Bc I attended actual games and watched it...something you can't do.

Or you saying I have to go back to Frierson's soph year to see some safety highlights...and quote "His film shows him defensively at CB making play after play after play...not Safety"...Does that work over here? BECAUSE THAT IS ENTIRELY FALSE, YOU ARE INCORRECT.
.

Obviously I'm referring to his most recent film film **** boy. You're the stupid a$$ that brought up film from him 3 years ago = LOLOL.

I mentioned his soph year at safety..., but sure we can throw that out if you think that's not relevant...I ust watched his junior year almost entirely at safety, and the defensive plays on his senior tape although moving him around more (blitzing off edge, over the slot), he still is playing safety a good bit. Don't know what else to tell you. I just watched it. You are incorrect.

who cares...I've already addressed that...you're desperately trying to rehash anything bc I am owning you.

**** I love this ignore button. Best tool ever....whose next? Please help me help you!!!!!!!!!!!

Tee - these dudes don’t know. Don’t waste your mind or time if they can’t comprehend. I think you got some ex girlfriends on here catching feelings

It appears I'm doing you the same way.

You dudes are such fluffers
The difference of course is that I am not getting all emotional about it and putting people on a message board on ignore. You need another outlet it would seem.

"owning me"...**** this dude is an internet tough guy.

Re: Frierson- Soph/Junior/Senior tapes. ALL HAVE SAFETY FOOTAGE. REPEAT ALL HAVE SAFETY FOOTAGE. NOT JUST SOPH YEARS...What don't you understand

So this quote "his film shows him making play after play at corner"...OK if you call play after play about 1/8th of the total plays of safety. OK then that works. This most senior film shows it...See a couple at corner, a couple as an edge blitzer, more at safety, and plenty of offense and returns. You got a better film than what has been posted here for senior year? Love to see it... You are basing all this film talk on 3-4 plays of senior year? Look I hope the kid works out at corner, but you are trying to pull "Film" out of your ***...I just watched all 3 years.

Re: Blades- So you actually attended all the games where he was a "dynamic safety" that someone managed not to film? OK cool...That also works.

Can anyone name a former Miami DB that started out a cb and moved to Safety and played it at a high level?

LOL

I got what you were saying due to a few things.

One, who we were talking about. Secondly, you know your **** and even casual fans can come up with a corner turned safety. The first that came to mind and I'm sure to the mind of everyone on here, Rolle.

So that told me one thing, you were talking about college only. Otherwise people would say Rolle, thus you would've just made a dumb statement.

All of this took maybe five seconds at best to figure out. Whatever, I did think it odd people didn't see that.

Im still confused what the **** you entire point is about players moving from CB to S. WHAT DOES IT MATTER WHEN IT HAPPENS?!?!?!
You're ******* arguing that we shouldn't move a guy from CB to S. It doesn't matter at what stage in life others have made the switch. The fact is it has happened and at a high level. So Whats the problem if the staff plans to play Frierson and/or Blades at CB to begin with (because thats where we currently need help) then with the plan to eventually move 1 or both to Safety if thats where we need them.

but the question is why is he limiting it to only here? why can't it be at any college? Why can't it be at any time? If the point he is attempting to make is its bad idea to switch someone from cb to s, why the **** do we need to limit examples solely to Miami players who have made the switch in college, and also while Richt was here (he said bennie blades doesn't count because it was 30+ yrs ago)..... Like his point is complete bs.
