Gotta prove it isn’t all Cam. Next season offense should be **** good and that’s when the kids will believe that the success and development is sustainable. We don’t have to have a season like we are having this year, we just need to be explosive and make the playoff.

The lazy thing about that is Auburn signed 4 top wrs including Cam Coleman who id pound the table until it breaks to get him id he hit the portal and they haven't had a strong passing game since Cam and hes retired now. **** Bo Nix had to leave them to get drafted

Every team has to prove it the next year..all of em.
And none of them have the #1 offense.

I’d argue maybe Auburn is not correctly allocating their funds and are probably paying the suck tax to go with it. Making the splashy signings isn’t any good if the rest of the team is basura

That doesn't explain all these years of being trash though and what have they done on the field to even get respect? Its just insane how Miami always has to put more effort to get the same chances as other scrubs

I think being in the ACC with what just happened to FSU might be making it easy for the bluebloods who have strung together a decade+ of success to hang in and keep us at arms length for another year. That’s why I say just one more year. We finish strong this season and then come out with a new qb and get into the playoff again and it’s all there for Mario to string together his own decade+ of success.

They been mid since Lawrence left and their CB and WR recruiting has been sagging lately. It isn’t just the ACC part of it. They did great until the idea that the ACC was a failing conference. Ever since that narrative took hold it has been a slow decline for them.

Just don't get why WR would want to go to UGA. I get they win and they are a top team but WR just are not featured in that offense. Meanwhile in Miami you have 1 WR who is about to have back to back 1K yard seasons. Plus we likely get a 2nd 1K yard receiver in George last year if our QB play didn't go down the drain.

-Miami's not a good team and has a bad coach
-Miami has a good coach now but I need to see his offense, I'm not sold
-Sure, they have a good offense this year but that's because the QB, I need to see next year
-Yea, they won a national championship but I want to see if they can sustain it
-The team has too much talent and I'm concerned about playing time
-I want to go to a bad team with a bad coach

That’s fun to type out and there will always be a kid or two here and there that doesn’t come.

Better to only have one reason to bounce (playing time/depth chart) than multiple.

Mario is eliminating the reasons.

Let's not ignore that he has closed strong on the position groups he covets and feels make the team consistently successful.

For years we were not allowed to pay while the SEC and B1G spent at will. We lost a lot of guys for that reason alone. Now we can pay and magically we are getting players.

Next step is win games and get kids drafted into the league that show out. We have always put guys into the league some even have balled but it’s not like it was during the TD streak. Hopefully Cam, X, Arroyo, Bain, OJ, CiCi are the guys that are going to set the standard and be the beacon for Mario moving forward.

To me it is comical because had we gotten Jeremiah Smith last season I don’t think anybody would be saying **** at this moment. We are talking one recruitment would have changed the entire narrative for many. I think getting JoJo and Ny was really nice and I expect them to develop with this staff and become the type of players we are all hoping they will be.

Whale hunting season used to play out following the season, often the recruiting juggernauts would exit the season with mid classes that exploded approaching or on signing day. A lot changed with early signing day and it became a grind through the season. Now kids are signing earlier and the final push is usually for flips. Recruiting continues to evolve and mindsets about class outlooks during the cycle should chnage.

Try not to judge the unfinished product, realize that the final push down the stretch will be the determining factor in our class until we have built a winning pedigree.
