I've never been bias so I am just going to be real. We are in this situation because we currently have the wrong philosophy, we are going after Edwards who needs coaching and will not be ready for next year, we will lose Elder, and I have been screaming two weeks straight go after Ameer Speed for a reason. We are playing a dangerous game of having a weak secondary next cycle. Richt needs to recruit for today and tomorrow like I said in the past. He needs to embrace south florida's recruiting mentality and set a statement by bringing in JC Jackson and Bethel. That way you have a corner for this year and two for the following season. Bringing in these two guys will take some stress off recruiting dbs this year and it will also allow the guys time to develop and understand the playbook while gaining depth.

What did the texts say? I don't understand a kid actively recruiting for Miami while being "all UF" in stealth mode?

What I will say is that Jobe is in the mix of being the next flip*. Henderson told the recruiter, "when he (Jobe) gets an offer, he coming with me"... That was back in April. It's apparent that Jobe and Henderson are most likely going to play together at the next level no matter what.


*If Henderson actually follows through and flips.

These clowns needs to concentrate on school, Jobe will be allowed to buy alcohol before he graduates HS at this rate.

So glad i dont have to recruit these disloyal South Florida kids. Richt deserves every penny dealing with these drama Queens.

Look, lets not ignore the elephant in the room here, our program has no juice right now. CJ is as good as gone, we have seen this story before, many many times. Thank God we have Richt instead of the last guy, but this is gonna be an uphill battle going forward and if we have any hope getting back to the promised land we must make a statement on the field this year. Sure we will continue to get some decent talent, but thats all it will ever be, decent. We aren't on the elite level right now, which we already knew, but I expected some noticeable changes on the recruiting front, and its just not there.

I agree in general but this program should have juice. They just hired a new staff and should see a recruiting bump that occurs at almost all other programs. It doesn't appear at this moment to be heading in the direction which is a little troublesome.
