If he wants to be a cane, he will be a cane. He's not a "can't miss" prospect imo
Let me ask you, maurice3p, who is currently a can't miss prospect that is currently committed to us?
This cannot be the excuse EVERY single time a kid decommits from us. The kid earned his 4th star, maybe he goes higher. We don't need any top rated prospects decommiting from us.
This has been the same ole reason every single year this time around. Do you see Bama losing any of their top rated recruits in June? FSU? Clemson? What about OSU? Michigan? Notre Dame maybe? Why is the argument "it's only June" or "he's not a can't miss type" acceptable for us when we bleed decommits around this time?
Am I panicking? No...however, there was something that we never discussed about Richt; was he truly an elite recruiter or did he have the backing of UGA and SEC money to help? It's early, yes...but this is something to keep in mind as time goes on.
1st, he's an athlete, that plays RB in HS, projected to play CB.
2nd, We don't have a "Instant impact" recruit committed right now. The top guys are still on the board: Trajan Bandy, De'Andre Wilder, Jerry Jeudy, Anthony McFarland Jr., Marco Wilson, Jarez Parks.
3rd, Miami should wait until August to take commitments. The other schools like bama, USC, FSU, load up in the summer thru winter. Not spring & summer.
4th, It's easier to recruit at UGA opposed to Miami. Everybody wants to play in the $EC.
