Chuba Hubbard 2017 ATH/Canadian Speedster as Miami Prospect

With all that said, I do think the kid looks like a stud. And him continuing to produce against at least solid US competition gives assurance that it's not just due to poor competition

For those who care about this sort of thing, Thomas Brown is now following Chuba Hubbard on Twitter.

Talent is talent pimpcane1. I wouldn't disagree, but if you watch his film you see he understands how to run behind his pads, how to set up blocks, how to vary his speed to the edge to set up angles, and he has great speed. The good news is this is merely a discussion that will have zero impact on whether we take him or not - but for the sake of argument, I would take him.

Competition aside - 20 yards per carry is ridiculous if true. He does not remind me in the least of Clinton Portis, maybe Lamar Miller, but in any case I would definitely take him.

This kid is averaging 20 yards per carry because of competition and that stupidly wide Canadian field that they play on.

Has been in contact with T Brown and was offered yesterday. Based on what I've read he seems very unfamiliar with the college football seen. I wouldn't be surprised if Miami is at the top of his list after a visit. The further you travel south from Canada the better!

Might wanna stay more north, family or somethin. Just guessin

It's a travesty his last name has a D at the end.
I will take him right away if his name was Chuba Hubba

With Miami going down the list of running backs to offer for 2017 it is now time to revisit this Young man's offer. He is currently committed to OK State. This kid as a junioir ran for 3200yds and 40TDs in 9 games that is video game numbers, yes I know in Canada they use a 120yd field but still ****.

Link to article about his commitment to OKST and his desire to run track in college also.

He ran a 10.55 second 100M as a junior back in May.

This was last week, the film don't lie as they say he has very good vision in the hole and for cut back lanes.

Paranos, I'm glad you brought this kid to our attention. Someone mentioned that Coach Brown was following him and that he was offered. Maybe Geo305 has some insight on our chances and the importance being placed on him. I'd think a kid from Canada would find Coral Gables more appealing than Stillwater, OK.
