Chuba Hubbard 2017 ATH/Canadian Speedster as Miami Prospect

I may be dreaming but imagine if we got this kid, Addarius Lemmons, CJ Cotman, Anthony Mcfarland, Darrian Felix and Chris Henderson...Oooh weee that would be some insane speed.

His build and running style reminds me of Ronald Jones II. But faster

Competition aside - 20 yards per carry is ridiculous if true. He does not remind me in the least of Clinton Portis, maybe Lamar Miller, but in any case I would definitely take him.

I'm dead at the competition in that video.

Don't worry about the Canadian competition. When this kid played in the USA vs Canada under 15 game he won game MVP in 42 to 0 rout by the Canadians. So he faced some of the best young talent the US had offer last year and ran all over them. So that seals the deal for me when comparing apples to apples. The video of the USA vs Canada game is linked above in this thread.

If Canada beat the US 42-0, then he definitely did not face some of the best young talent the US had to offer

I'll repeat again if Bob Stoops and Mike Gundy who both have put a plethora of offensive playmakers and in bob stoops case a plethora of RB's in the NFL want him as a RB on their teams, then so do I.

Was just Alberta, but at U-15 everyone is around similar skill and ability. Our top end talent isn't anything to shrug at, I've gone down and coached against teams from the states at the U-15 level. It's competitive for everyone. Just because Alberta beat "team USA" doesn't mean it couldn't have been some of your best 15 year olds. A lot of our top end talent ends up playing south of the border now too (as in not eligible for this game or U-17). I've know 4 or 5 separate kids, who either I played with or against, who transferred down to American high schools to getting some better exposure. Currently one of my provincial kids is playing in up state New York.

Ehhh...wouldn't totally surprise me. When I used to coach optimist (2003-2005), I had a few players that made it on a optimist all-star team from SFL that went to Mexico to play against some of their youth all-stars (I think these mexican kids were older). The best player on the team was TY Hilton and they had a lot of kids that went to BCS schools. They got crushed by the mexican kids. I remember some short mexican kid housing a kick off on the highlights and my players telling me that they never saw a kid that fast at that age LULZ. They were also kind of built for being 15U. Again, I think that they were using older kids.

Happened again in 2012, but in hs. Where a mexican hs team beat the #1 3A team in Texas...

Just found a quick write up on the youth team:

Arthur Hall is a past president who currently serves on the league’s advisory board. He said, “Ten years ago, we took an all-star Pop Warner football team to Mexico and played a whole week. T.Y. Hilton, currently with the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts, was one of the players on that team.”

I could take the PPO 135 pound team to Canada and beat any team in that country including the CFL. Canadian football is straight trash.

Chubby Hubby looks like a player though.

This kid is averaging 20 yards per carry because of competition and that stupidly wide Canadian field that they play on.

We have kids up north, who can compete with the USA guys, especially the trench guys. Skill positions are a little different story.

A number of years ago my buddy's kid from ON was getting looked at by a few schools, but would not get a sniff from Golden ended up backing up Gore this year at Indianapolis (on IR now).
