i mean that sall i was saying.I think Tech’s best case scenario is being a perennial 8-9 win team. They’ll get the occasional good recruit. Maybe 3-5 a year. But not enough to compete with that next upper echelon. Too many hands in the GA pot. It’s not like they are fighting just UGA. FSU is tough south of Macon. Auburn is a hard pull from west/central GA. Clemson and Tennessee are present north of the perimeter. Four schools not named UGA/Bama they have to battle with. There’s a major ceiling that I don’t think NIL can overcome. Maybe they get lucky and fall into an Andrew Luck or CMC like Stanford did but I wouldn’t count it.
Like they arent even a real factor in their own recruiting base....they have to wait until everyone else ravishes and get the scraps.
Their nil may can pay fo rlike what you say 3-5 a year but that will dry up as they hit their win ceilings like you said.
This aint dallas or miami... Like tenn or auburn could just say nect class we gonna spend nil in metro atl and its nothing they can do about it because ALL of those schools have a footing. Clemson like i stated has made metro atl their home base for elite recruits they want.
Where i think they can factor in...is mixing in big nil towards THE PORTAL. Out the hs ranks i dont see them stacking top 15 classes.
