Chris Wheatley Humphrey (is not in the portal

Which is why getting 1 RB in the 2025 class was dumb.
I don’t disagree. Could be wishful thinking, but maybe the staff thinks Pringle is the goods and expects him to contribute right away. They could also always get a high school kid before February NSD

The only time we’ve seen him play was the spring game last year and it was limited. He looked a **** of a lot better than Chris Johnson though.

Even if they thought Pringle was in for significant PT in 2025, they misread the room as it pertained to our guys sticking around. Not enough horses in the stable. Whether it's NSD or spring portal, we absolutely need more RBs on scholarship.

Anybody know how he's coming along?
Right now he's our #4 rb. I loved his HS film. Very explosive, though some said his competition was weak.
We certainly need at least 4 rbs. Didn't we lose 2 in '22 or '23?

We lost a lot in 22. At one point we were down to a Walk on RB in 2022. I prefer 6 RBs and going with 4 is nuts. Hellcat going to get some burn this upcoming season. He'll be fine but I'm worried if we lose 2-3 RBs for a game

I'm sure that they are planning on given Loften carries. That is probably why they didn't take another running back this year.

I never said it had to be someone's starter or primary backup or that this player comes from the P4.

You're filling deep bench spots. Just get a guy.

CWH probably won't play much RB here. All of our lightweight running backs just left...in part because we don't really use them. Go play corner if you want to play here.

If he ends up a stud, bump away, and I'll eat the L...but here, just go play corner and dedicate yourself to that and you have a better chance at making better money playing football or go to UCF or something.
If he is light weight how could he play corner??? Ala Robert Stafford?? I mean…these posts

Lofton plays more FB add another RB in the transfer portal.

CWH is a JAG imo. Until proven otherwise, that's my opinion. I don't see that dude doing anything as a RB in a Cane uniform.

Lofton should have carried the ball at the goal line vs ISU in the 4th Q...
Just imagine 6’2 240lb. He already has the movement skills at 230lb, trim some of that baby fat to muscle and had a little mass he’ll still be able to move just as good.

Does anyone know what his speed/explosiveness numbers looked like in practice last year? IIRC the biggest issues with him as a recruit were competition and the fact that his only verified speed numbers were shockingly slow, in a way that made no sense with what the tape showed.

Miami should target an RB1 in the porthole to replace Martinez.

Who disagrees?
Cristobal wants Beck to recruit talent. If we're not big game hunting at RB and WR between now and the summer then we're not committed to winning.
