Chris Johnson should not be our KR

He is very fast in a straight line, but is not shifty enough to be a great returner.

Robby is not quite as fast, but he’s still a burner and possesses great wiggle and lateral movement without losing speed in the open field. Go back and look at their high school film. Robby is a natural return man. It just comes naturally to him.
I think I just said that ... Nonetheless, CJ has improved as KR.

leaves so much to be desired. We have to have someone who can pose a legit threat. He’s a scatback out there.

#1 He's tied for 15th in the country

#2 He averages 25.5 per return with a long of 40. We pick up a whole 1/2 a yd vs just fair catching it.

I wonder when you factor in holds and blocks in the back how many teams better the 25 yard line start on their kickoff returns. Gotta be less than 10.

Him and Ray Ray on PR have been very underwhelming. Forget a TD return, havent even come close tom breaking a big one all season.

Doubt Mario will make changes when 9-0 here but very meh.

He hasn’t fumbled, that’s all I care about. We don’t need a dynamic kick returner with this offense. We have many other problems. CIS never ceases to amaze me.
Need? Maybe not. Maybe it would be a luxury.

But like I’ve said before, when you’ve seen the Canes with Kevin Williams, Santana Moss, Roscoe Parrish, Devin Hester, Phil Buchanan, Sean Taylor, etc., then you feel like dynamic returners should be a thing.

CIS saying something is very bad but it's actually very good.....

If one of those clones is on the team then put them in. Evidently there is not.

Throwing an oversized jersey on him doesn't exactly speed him up. It gives defenders more to get their hands on.

I honestly feel like Sam Brown could be a stud KR. Not good at PR, but great at KR. He is fast, hard to bring down, and only makes one cut.

This includes two guys with 2 attempts, and two more with 3 attempts.

And you're acting like averaging over 25 is nbd when there are like over 100 FBS teams with returners averaging less lol...
You're implying we'd be better off fair catching or taking touchbacks, but the fact is he is returning MOSTLY when the ball doesn't reach the endzone. Which means every return we are likely at least starting at the 30 on average with him rather than the 25. Plus the fact his long is only 40 yet he's matching everyone elses avg implies that he is being consistently GOOD every return. So Imo you're just plain wrong.

And If you're not happy with the 4th best P5 average Kick returner they you do you lol
Tallest guy at the midget convention.

25.5 is atrocious.

You ask 100 people in here if 25.5 is any good and you'd be the only one thinking its good.

I rather him call the fair catch even if it’s short of the end zone at this point. Slow reaction, no wiggle and little elusiveness

He not making plays as a return man. We get scored on a lot so it’s not for a lack of chances. He can do it safely, sure. But he not making big plays on kr

Edit: this really a dream scenario as a returner lol
