I don't think that's unreasonable. But people have drawn these lines where you have to root for Lane or else you're a slurper, just because for the past 3-4 coaching searches Miami fans have convinced themselves that he was actually a legit option to come here

I hear you on some of that.

I would've rather Ole Miss won than Georgia, but I'm not losing sleep over it. Georgia has taken so many of our potential players and truth be told, the players made the right choice, on paper. The more they keep dominating, the harder it is to recruit against them. They need some cracks in their armor.

I think Lane has turned into a very good coach. If I could've had Mario or him, I would've picked Lane. I said it then and I have no problem saying it now. I'd rather Mario get the job done and be wrong rather than right. I don't root for Lane anymore than any other coach out there though. Beat those big dogs though and hope that makes sense.

As for whether he was a legit or not option, I'd say legit. Anytime you want something the possibility exists to get what you want. You've gotta sell it though. We got tunnel vision and the guys with money targeted their guy. Had they targeted Lane, it could've happened. Any coach can be had for the right price is what I'm getting at.

So because Ole Miss is going after our 3rd WR commit, you think they're a bigger recruiting threat to UM than Alabama and UGA? And I am the one presenting a disingenuous argument?

Per Gaby, a final decision is coming on Monday. OSU gave Robinson and his family alot to think about. He said it's made things difficult at this stage of the game.

Gaby said he believes the relationship with Beard may be the deciding factor - it's very strong. He is leaning towards Robinson sticking with his commitment to Miami as of tonight.

Ok wanna know how i know your making stuff up.....the bolded.

1.) We havent had a coaching search since i've been alive
2.) the last ones...the current HC was the main 1 folks been slurping themselves over to have. I know because i been going to war for years about the negatives of sed coach. lol

HE AINT GETTING CHANCE so could care less.
We should be tryna flip from the Miss States, UF, UCLA'S of the world currently.
