I assume doing a Google search for images of "Miami Notre Dame 2017" returns results that aren't hi-def enough? Because it's super easy to get shots of a full stadium, just not sure if they're designer quality.

Funny, that's the very first thing I did. Trumpy is funny (never, ever, stop, @TrumpyCane) but there are resolution issues with what's out there. I sent him 15 pics. I knew going in that at least 11 of them were a no go but it was all I could find.

I really regret getting sucked into this lol

You’ve given very reasonable replies all thru this thread, even though you don‘t owe it to us or Fawcett. All that being said I‘m giving him a pass for the reasons you provided. People have to be allowed to make mistakes
However, knowing what he does now about how those graphics are disrespectful to UM and to the recruit, and having had that explained to him in detail by you, if he continues to do it then it certainly seems intentional and low minded.
You did your part. Nothing more to do or say if you choose not to.

Twitter is seen mostly on mobiles, not really hi-res as modern displays go. I google-images searched for 2017 ND and there were plenty good enough to take 1/2 of a portrait-oriented tweet.
 
Isn't he a graphic designer? Finding a suitable image that doesn't potentially insult the customer is part of the job. Honestly the guy isn't really good at his job anyway because all his edits are the same and they look like ****. You could AI prompt his job away.

Look at his art, it all looks high res to pop hard. That's his style. That's my opinion, he didn't tell me that. Just that he had trouble finding good pics (as did I). Honestly like I said, until we all went nuts, I don't even think he noticed the crowd. I mean, he didn't even understand that he was using a CFP pic. My 2 cents.

Of course he could be in a foxhole with Andew Ivins planning our demise right now! Everyone freak out!!!

We’re not talking about some dude who just woke up out of bed and was asked by some kid to do an edit. This guy has done a lot of edits for some of the most highly rated recruits for many years. He is well entrenched in the recurring game in the narratives that go behind it.

So spare me the “he didn’t mean to do it”.

Look up any website from any other Fanbase that we’ve ever had to go to bat with for a Recruit. The talk of attendance and the stadium constantly come up.
You would have to be living under a rock to not know that.

Now tell me that he does that to a bunch of other dudes from other fan bases and I’ll buy it.

But if he doesn’t and it’s only us then it’s just blatantly obvious.

By its mobile-consumable nature - twitter is decidedly NOT hi-res; that dog wont hunt. Haye's 'style' is a comical HDR fad that's about a decade past it's prime at this point - but to his credit he's toned down on the HDR as his composition skills have improved. In my previous life I was a photographer, graphic/digital designer, web designer/developer, marketer and creative director. There is no way he can't 'google' an image of Hard Rock that's not suitable for his resolution needs - that's just ridiculous.

According to ON3 Haye's has been 'the edit guy' for 7 years now. Suffice to say it's a business and not a free service he is providing. If you guys really wanna get up in it, reverse image search his google image swipes and alert the copyright holder for infringements and royalties - as google images are free to view, not necessarily free to use for commercial purposes.

No way I am getting any more involved lol. If any of you that really care about this can source better photos, I will be happy to pass them on. But otherwise I'm out before I end up dragged into a four hour, three-time zone zoom from ****. :ROFLMAO:
