Champagnat and T Valentine with NCAA

The school is doing a disservice to the kids. They are not prepared at all for college life.

Fear not. The FDoE's office of professional practices has this school on its radar. They jumped on board when the Government Accountability Office began investigating two of the schools Test Proctors. It's a slow process but I would think its days are numbered.

I see an implosion happening very soon. Where is chuck Robinson and manny. These hacks need to realize what a great story this would make.

Days are numbered for what? Its a private school. Its not accredited, at least not by any reputable or recognized accreditation body. Basically its a day care center masquerading as a school. What authority does the FDoE have to do anything to them? Its basically up to the families to not send their kids to this mickey mouse operation no? I mean in the end, they can say this is no different than home schooling.

What will really put an end to this scam is if the NCAA clearinghouse basically flags the school as a diploma mill and hotbed of fraud, and essentially flags every kid coming out of there for intense scrutiny. Once that happens, I suspect players will bolt from there and head back to their old schools, or other schools to try to pad their grades, and the program will unravel fairly quickly. After that this "school" will go back to being what it was, a rinky dink Cuban style Hialeah religious school that caters to little kids like there used to be all over Miami.

Agreed. Where are the parents/guardians as well?

They are actually paying for the kids to go there. Lets face it, I doubt many of them are in the dark about what this school is. They want their sons to get football scholarships to college. They know most of them don't have the grades and at the rate they are going will not qualify. So they are buying phony grades at a diploma mill in the hopes that their kids will slip under the radar and get a scholie and play college ball.

You have heard many of these kids "stories" and "family situations". Many of them don't even live with their parents. They are staying with a "mentor", or "uncle" or "grandma" or "family friend" or "coach". I don't the vast majority of those players parents at Champagnat are sitting around worrying about their sons not getting a quality education right now.

When a school, private or public, allegedly sends fraudulent/doctored transcripts to State schools around the country. The originating states Dept of education will allocate time, it all begins with its office of professional practices. If employees of that private or public school, proctor state exams, and somehow gets attention from the Governments accountability office..Then yeah, it's not all puppies and flowers from that point forward.

LSU head coach Les Miles says Freshman defensive tackle Travonte Valentine is being held up on his arrival to Baton Rouge from his Miami home due to a communication hold-up with his certification from the NCAA Clearinghouse. Safety Jalen Mills is still serving a suspension following an arrest in May.

“Communication has been regular, us and the high school,” Miles said (via The Times-Picayune). “The reality is the high school and the Clearinghouse have to communicate. I think they’re doing that, I think they’re trying. Sometimes there’s easy answers and sometimes not. Hopefully this will be an easy answer.”

Miles is optimistic the resolution with the NCAA Clearinghouse will be settled.
