Chaminade-Madonna

They're having a team meeting today. Let's see what happens. The problem is not the kids, it's the school.

How is the school the problem?

Cause they won't shell out more money so that he can have 22 D-1 prospect instead of 11?

How 'bout you COACH WHAT YOU HAVE?!

I know that's a foreign concept these days, with everybody stockpiling talent via recruiting and all, but as a coach THAT'S YOUR ***'N JOB.

Or am I wrong, and that's not the issue?

Apparently you fail to see the clear distinction between a public and private school. Private schools don't get guaranteed allotment of kids, unlike public schools so they have to go out and get kids or the program dies. No private school in south florida would be good if they only used "homegrown kids." The coaches job is to build the best team possible and that includes getting kids to come, within the rules of course.

Anyways, I predict Chaminade will cease to exist in 5-10 years. They don't have the money or enrollment of an STA or Heritage and aren't an an elite academic school like pinecrest or Uschool.

They ALREADY HAVE A BUNCH OF D1 KIDS, that's my point. The issue (or problem) is that they won't allow him to bring in more.

Sounds like greed to me. Typical STA ****. They can't coach the 10 D1 kids they have right now to victory?

Sucks to say, because it's making some avg/below avg coaches look good.

You won't win a state championship in that class with last years roster. Jacksonville Trinity Christian has won the 3A championship every year since 2010 (I think). They have at least 1 5-star every year, and probably 20 D1 kids. They lost one game and it was to a loaded Buford Ga. team (OOS teams with good lineman usually wreck SFL teams) When's the last time that a loaded team got upset in the state championship by an underdog with just a margin of talent?

This is just the status quo. They HAVE to win states or they're a bust. If they bust, then STA and AHP will call them up and tell them to come play for a proven winner. You have kids leaving IMG, AHP, other OOS/in-state contenders to go STA. Broward just seems really different. Patience to build a program doesn't seem practical. Every public school state champ or even contender comes out of nowhere, and then the program becomes average in a few years. There is no long-term building of a public school state championship program in broward.

7v7 elite teams like SFL Express and fire have made it even tougher now with the new mentality that everyone wants to be cool with each other. What serious rivalries now exist in broward?

That's not the issue, you buffoon. The issue is that the existing kids that are already there were promised certain assistance in financial aid and the school reneged on their promise.

Given your lack of reading comprehension and general knowledge about the way things work it's not surprising that a legitimate program has never scooped you up.

You stupid fvck, that's why I said in my original post "or am I wrong and that's not the issue?"

Regardless, cry me a fvckin' river. They already have more talent on that roster than most teams, certainly more than any team I've been apart of.

Coach your **** kids.

LOL @ you justifying an HC leaving 2 days before Fall camp starts. I bet that's your boy.

well Jones is a recruiter and they hired one of my boys to coach to...safe ti say they will be able to recruit the hollywood/hallandale area big time

Frostproof, 1999. Against Jacksonville Trinity Christian. Hard-headed coach refused to kick FGs or Trinity wins easily, but not that day lol.

Why don't you coach at IMG?

Because IMG would have an unfair advantage if he did.

Why would ANYBODY wanna coach at a program that's not even eligible for the playoffs?
