This!!! I’m sorry but I just don’t understand this we losing ALL the south Florida talent, okay we didn’t get everyone but **** we got some absolute studs from south Florida and some cats that needs some coaching to really be elite!

To be fair, he was pointing out one loss seasons or better between '92 and '02.

We had 1 undefeated season and 3 one loss seasons.

FSU had 1 undefeated season and 4 one loss seasons.

UF has 2 one loss seasons.

He chose the context, and it is what it is. I didn't read the entire thing to see where he was going with it, so whatever.

I think the 7 on 7 sfla express guy has more pull than Cris Carter. Dude actually shuttles these kids out there to OHio.Why you think Sanguinetti and company camped in ohio recently.
 
Like an Alabama guy told me not two weeks ago: "Even if schools came after Saban - no one will outbid us. Players may want to stay home, or players may not like Alabama - but we will never be outbid."

Lots of the big schools are semi-pro teams - the players are largely paid. Their families are largely - paid. UM alumni are dumber than ****, and way behind the bag game of the SEC and a few other teams.

Shalala should be charged with murder - her dumbass decisions and cheap-assed determinations tanked the UM football program - and come to think of it - financially - she did a lot of dumb things.

So we're left with a two-tier NCAA football sport. Semi-pro teams - and the rest.

We're one of the 'rest'.

Players want to win and play for winning teams. It's a hard fight against the semi-pro teams, but if we can start sweeping the ACC and get into the playoffs - we'll get more of the top players who just want to play for an exciting, winning team.

We need an offensive line, a QB that can at least hit a bull in the *** with a bass fiddle - and a creative, energetic, accomplished Offensive Coordinator.

Until then, we'll be just outside the elite.

There are a lot of schools that could outbid Saban. Tons of schools are richer and have a richer alumni basis. UT is one that comes to mind.

This list isn't the only measure, but there are most certainly not "lots" of schools that can outspend bama.

I mean 5 out of the 25-30 P5 teams that are actually relevant is a pretty decent amount. However, we where talking about dropping bags and outbidding opponents. That is money that comes from boosters. I can think of atleast 20 schools that have more and wealthier boosters than them that are actually interested in football. Obviously the Ivys would be excluded in my list.
