CFP Round 1: Ohio State vs Tennessee, 8 pm, ABC & ESPN

Guy has no idea what he’s looking at in the most QB friendly offense in the country. I think it’s being figured out that Nico is a 7v7 superstar
He’s still young. And he was always a tools prospect. Multi sport guy. He’s got a ways to go but when you’re spending 8 mil on a guy you expect him to start

Maybe his oline is getting blown the ball and his WR are blanketed it right now.

I swear Tom Brady could have a bad game and CIS would call him a JAG

Always seen Tenn offense as a gimmick. Got to evolve it. Same scheme when they upset bama a couple years ago. U think teams ain’t going to adjust. Like Freeze and Malzahn thinking a qb going to ignite it
I’ve always thought the Vols’ offense was kind of a gimmick. They don’t rely on motion or deception to create mismatches, they just line up and go. That might work against weaker defenses, but when they face a team with a strong secondary and disciplined coverage, they tend to struggle.

Add to that, elite defenses can disrupt their timing and force mistakes, which really limits their explosive potential. It’s a system that looks great when everything clicks, but it can get exposed when the talent gap closes.

I’ve watched him all year. Live in Tennessee and my wife’s family are big Vols fans. Nico cannot read a defense at all. Huepel’s offense is most QB friendly in the country. I’m not sure it’s just a bad game. It’s a pattern for him so far

2 things are for sure

1. You wanna get that bye (no surprise)
2. Get the home game in the first round. Its a huge advantage

And the most ridiculous thing is that Ohio State* should’ve been bounced out of the playoff completely for the brawl with Michigan. You guys remember when brawls like that were considered scandalous? Not if Ohio State* is involved, though…

Who would you pick to be our QB next year. Any QB in college next year

Miami may not have beat Penn State, ND, OSU, or Texas but they **** sure put up a better game than SMU, Indiana, Tennessee, and Clemson.

All of America should be wishing they got to witness Miami’s offense against one of those teams instead of what we got. SEC/ACC/BIG10 all floundering on the road. Conference affiliation doesn’t matter, it’s the teams they put 9-10-11-12 are all flawed and no offenses that can hang. Miami has the trenches and the NFL caliber weapons all of those 4 teams don’t.

Gonna hate the 2024 defense forever for ruining a literal championship contender. What could have/should have been a final 4 team. Guidry has to go for that reason alone. Hes tainted for me forever.

Looking like 3/3.

Looking forward to everyone now saying “Tenn sucks, frauds, etc”

No OSU has always been capable of this. But can they do it multiple weeks with Howard as the QB

That part will be very quiet. They'll say that about Indiana, Clemson and SMU but with Tennessee they'll say oh its tough to play on the road for the playoffs or some SEC bs excuse over there poor play
