Wouldn't have made a difference--The lines were already a touchdown or more. The result would have been the same.

I'm not sure how I feel about 10-2 UT getting in instead of us.

We would win or be a close game with anyone and maybe the CFP knew that and just didn't want us in to potentially ruin a B10 or SEC brand I don't know.
