Dillingham has not had a great day calling plays. Passed up two FG’s, had one blocked. Gave up a punt return TD and then stopped inside the 5.

How ASU is still in this game, is credit to how good their defense is and how not great Ewers and this Texas offense is.

They had zero chance to make the second one from 51 yards with their kicker. First one was a 42 yarder vs 4th & 2. Their kicker stinks. At worst they had even odds to convert the 4th/make the FG, going for it they had potential for 4 more points. Dillingham made the right call on both.

The blocked 36 yarder is why they're not winning. It got blocked because their kicker kicked it so low.

I was just talking with @Lance Roffers about Leavitt. He reads and processes real slowly. He gets stuck on a man then stays or leaves the pocket. Still young but I don’t like that . Robert Marve syndrome.

Watching in slow motion I thought was bit of a cheap shot on the WR. In real time I think the DB did the smart thing and body checked the WR rather than draw the penalty by lowering his head and shoulder. Good play.
