If we have Cam in house before signing day and Mario and Cam go personally and offer Smith an additional 2 mil on top of what we were offering, does Smith take the bait? I think if we had more certainty at QB, Smith might not have caved in at that last hour. He might have been excited to play with an all time talent like Cam if he got to know him ahead of signing day.

That all said, this was on us 20 years ago letting SFE get their hooks in down here. Glad to see there are other options now, You wouldn’t see a version of SFE exist in Athens, Tuscaloosa or any of the B1G towns. But you got it in SFL.

He was never coming. His cousin is Geno Smith ... only thing he cared about was NFL.

great poster dude but what are you pining about? Smith was never coming to Miami. Mario and the entire staff recruited their *** off for him. OSU has been a recruiting, development and spending juggernaut for 2 decades plus, especially for WR. Why would he choose Miami?

only UGA can beat them if their QB is good, if not I can agree OSU is playing to their talent. U have to shift the coverages to JS and let the others beat you but they can, cause he can get others open with the attention he demands. Howard is the question, can he do it. He's not an NFL QB but he can probably get it done in college with what he has around him.

OSU is the overwhelming favorite unless Howard has another Michigan game.

Is Brandon Innis injured or is he simply not getting any looks? I remember he was once the heir apparent before Jeremiah Smith.
