It has alot to do with seeding because in the scanario I listed the bye's would of probably went to the Texas, Georgia, Ohio state and Oregon. That changes alot of the seeding by itself, but with the pac 12 gone and texas now in the sec it through the system for a loop my boy

U’re literally arguing a non factor. The point is no #1 seed regardless of the implosion of “a conference imploding” should face this level of competition next round. My point is regardless of who the #1 seed is, u don’t reward them w/ a top 7 opponent. Yes OSU lost to UO & Michigan, but both loses were literally by a chin hair & they proved to be a top team all yr. Boise getting an auto bye is the problem.
