Is getting Cook a realistic option?

Also Pete and D$, how do you rank Sony, Yearby, and Cook?

I'd rank them (1) Sony, (2) Cook, (3) Yearby, but I've never seen Sony live.

Honestly, I've seen Yearby several times and Daryl Chestnut looks every bit as good, if not better.

Who do you compare Cook and Sony to? I know you said you haven't seen him live but from his tapes?

Cook reminds me of a more physical Lamar Miller. Sony, I'll wait until I seen him live to make the comparison.

Akeem Jones looks much more polished this year than last. Still probably not a UM guy but if we had more spots I would have liked to take a shot. I like him better than Gray Crow and Dewey at any rate. Whats his recruitment looking like?

Peter is saying Marshall, but I can't understand why a school like FIU isn't banging down his door. I really like him.

Seen them all live this year, I would rank them even though I feel like I am missing someone:

1. Collins (just a beast, runs hard and fast)

2. Dalvin Cook (been a big fan of his since last year)
3. Yearby

4. Sony (only seen one game live and he still seems a little hesitant off knee injury)
5. Jordan scarlett (youngest one still has room to grow)

Forget about him balling against big time SoFla talent. He's damaged goods. Future bust. Stay Away.

Jakhari Gore was once the best back in Dade. Where is he now? Should we offer Darius Tice and Daryl Chestnut too?

Appreciate the sarcasm though. Nice constructive post (see - I can do it too).

Ok so now one play dictates a career. Got it

Who said anything about 1 play? That play I mentioned is just 1 of many examples of Cook's inability to transition smoothly between cuts. Having home-run speed and explosion is nice but backs rarely get opportunities to run straight through a hole untouched at the college level. You need to be able to make sudden changes of direction to elude defenders and break big runs at any level above high school.

I had high hopes for this site early on but now it's just become like every other Canes site...littered with homers and +1 posters who jump on anyone who says anything critical about a Cane recruit, especially one from Dade county. I guess people had to go somewhere when CT and CS imploded. All I see now are sarcastic posts that add no value to the discussion. If this site continues to trend this way I'll just stop posting, because clearly the hivemind can't handle opposing viewpoints and rational debates.

EDIT: Post won't format properly for some reason.
EDIT2: Fixed. Javascript was off.

This guy right here is a quality poster. One of the few.

Besides the videos that discredited everything he said...I agree

I think CaneLB is a very good poster, but for him to grandstand with his post screams of immaturity and attention seeking. Ignore the bad posters and discuss with the good ones.
