CB Trajan Bandy Commits......

Bandy would bev a great nickel here. Unfortunately it's not happening. He is very ****ed at the staff for not offering. Will not come to Miami with late offer.

And this is what im talking about..not sure if this is true information or not..but the nerve of this kid...Doesnt want to earn his offer? Why? Kids like him have to understand that kids who are 6'1 with LEGIT 4.3 speed will always get the offers first. (speaking about his friend CHenderson) He cant make this a pride thing. Go out and earn it. Make Richt, Diaz, and Rumph have to see you. Thats how it is in this game.

he aint no back up plan the kid is the best corner in dade

Jury is out on this. Read somewhere that he didnt exactly tear up the camp circuit although he didnt embarass himself either. His size is an issue. Nothing wrong with admitting that. I like the kid but I cant say I like his long term potential more then Brini, Davis, Henderson or Wilson.

This wouldnt be a conversation if he was 5'11. But then again Nick Roberts is 5'11 185 and people are still saying that he is not a take for us right now. So I dont know what the staffs plans are.

What are you talking about he has been destroying camps, and has done more at the CB position than the kids you mentioned, hes way more proven, dont get me wrong those kids have potential but they havent really done anything yet

I read on here that he didn't look to hot at the Opening. Like I said, the jury is out. But to come on here and say he is the Best DB in south fla outright? I don't know about that.

The market for 5'10 corners is shrinking. **** was there a corner chosen in the 1st round under 6'0? The NFL standard is forcing colleges to recruit taller kids at corner. There is obviously a role for him on any defense but you can't make him your #1 corner in this Diaz scheme.

LULZ He was invited to the opening in Oregon and stateoftheU said that he was the best DB at the event. Diaz runs a heavy cover-3 scheme, which is the main defense for Columbus . Bandy has been the most productive corner in dade against the best competition, while usually playing in the same base coverage of Diaz's defense.

7 of the CB's taken in the first 100 players in the draft this year were 5'10". W.Jackson(22nd), V. Hargreaves(23rd), Cyrus Jones (60th), Mackenzie Alexander (54th), keivarae Russell (74th), Kendall Fuller( 84th), & Brandon Williams(94th).

8 total DBs in the first 100 with Karl Joseph (14th).

He did earn his offer. Came to camps for previous and present staff and balled out as always. They don't won't short defensive backs period. Shame, he has a nose for the ball and lays the wood.

I read on this very site that Bandy was getting worked by Jeudy. Maybe it wasnt the Opening but I know I read that here.

I said 1st round. William Jackson is 6'0 last time I checked Nfl.com and espn.com... I will give you Hargreaves but there were scouts who werent 100% sold on him because of that very reason AND because he had short arms. It was a definite knock.

You can call it what you want but there is a reason that FSU, UF and UM have not offered him. The kid is the Goods I will admit. But lets not act like that the reason why the Big 3 have slow played him isnt because he is 5'10. (And I read that he might be 5'9 1/2) If he had elite speed and quickness and change of direction like Phillip Buchanon did at 5'10 then we might be having a different conversation. But he doesnt.

If we have a chance to take 4 DBs and we can get the "wish list" of (Brini, Davis, Henderson, and Wilson) then Bandy is out and I wouldnt feel bad at all. Now as one of those kids drops off the board, I add a kid like Bandy to the fold. Which it sounds like that is what the staff is doing now that SDavis seems to be pointing toward Gatorland.

VH3 still went 11th, and that's still 7 total DBs 5'10" or under in the top100. Bandy's fast enough for Bama (legit offer, as Pruitt offered him both at UGA and Bama) and every other OOS program. The big3 not offering doesn't mean what it used to, as OOS programs now have more access to our local recruits.

LOL. Man everyone knows BAMA passes out offers all over SoFla but it aint commitable unless you go to their camp. If you are the elite of the elite, at least ONE of the Big 3 will be on you. Bandy cant get mad because we are evaluating him. According to the article posted in the thread below, Bandy is 5'9. If he was 6'1 and had 4.3 speed like his friend Chris Henderson then of course he would have an offer. Life doesnt work that way though. He has to earn his offer. If he doesnt want to do it, ***** him. He is good but he aint that **** good to not have to work for an offer.

What you mean he doesnt want to earn it??? Have you seen bandys tape? Dude goes to every camp and balls out, unlike davis and brini who are MIA in camps this year, and yall use the bama stuff with davis why is it different with bandy?

Jassid heel-digging while Barboni drags him around cyberspace by the eyelids.

Lol. I stand by my original statement. There was only one corner out 5 that were taken in the first round of this years draft that was under 6'0. And Hargreaves dropped. Apple went ahead of him and Apple is 6'1.

Barboni wanted to change the narrative by extending it past the first round just to make his point. Ok. (shrugs) MAlexander and Fuller were first round locks at one point. Its not a coincidence that they dropped out and ABurns slid in. (6'0 195 with 4.4 speed will do that.)

This is all a moot point. Its like arguing about JC Jackson at this point. Bandy hasnt been offered and according to some posters if we dont offer him within the timeframe of his liking he is going to tell us to F off anyway. Good riddance. I will gladly "settle" for Nick Roberts anyway.

Argument is still flawed. Alexander dropped because he interviewed horribly AND the fact he had no INTs scared scouts and fuller had a torn ACL

There is a strong contigent of Columbus HS alumni on here apparently, so tbh, I usually take whatever inside info they bring as somewhat legit. Maybe im wrong for that.

We will agree to disagree on Bandy. I like the kid. Im not saying I will riot if we offer and he commits. Im just not up in arms because we are slow playing him right now. Gun to head, I think we offer once we get the feeling that SDavis isnt coming and MWilson is going to join his bro in gatorland. At that point, I would rather have him then any other DB on the board not named CHenderson. (I like Roberts too and hope he is in this class)

Interviewed horribly? LMAO. Sorry I didnt know he was going out for a job working for Goldman Sachs. NFL scouts dont give a **** about that ****. How you think Tunsils interview went? That guy couldnt even get out of his post-draft interview without sounding like an idiot.

Alexander dropped because of the injury and his size. (5'10) I agree that the ball skills were a concern. But this bad interview stuff his smoke screen.

I dont agree on Fuller either. If you are a freak, torn ACL or not they will take a chance on you. **** Jaylon Smith might not even play this year and he almost slid into the first round. And lets not forget our very own Willis McGahee who slid into the first round after tearing his ACL, PCL AND MCL 4 months before the draft! Come on man! LOL.

Yea it doesn't matter...that's why they said on live tv when they talked about why he fell

Who cares about the NFL draft?? Can he be a good college player and help Miami win? If so, sign him up.

If it aint pete or another staff writer dont believe, im curious though why do you like davis better?

Shawn Davis went head to head against Jeudy in the Spring (who many on here consider an elite prospect and by far the #1 WR on our board) and not only held his own but got the better of him.

Davis has the size you are looking for in a #1 corner. (6'0 170) You got cats on here saying Bandy could be a great nickel. Man we need elite, #1 corners in this Defense. Esp if Diaz is going to be blitzing like crazy.

For the record, I dont like Davis better, if we remember, the original statement was that Bandy was the best DB in SoFla and I replied that the jury was out on that statement. I dont know who the best DB in SoFla is yet..It could be Bandy. But I think SDavis is a better DB prospect at the college level.
