I guess he saw the LSU sinking ship before everybody else.. thankfully for our benefit..
it's been said on here his injury isn't as bad as initially thought..
so what's the status on this kid starting next year? like OJ?
him and Ben Hanks are similar size... 6-1 170.. why is everybody convinced that Ben Hanks can come and start but Jaboree can't? is it because of his injury?

I don’t think anyone doubts that Jaboree can come in and play a ton early. It’s just the fact that CB is an extremely weak unit for us, and we need several high impact guys there, not just 1. Hanks is a local, and has the size, speed, and coverage ability elite teams covet.
We will not get over the hump and be a serious contender for the CFP until we have supreme talented athletes on the perimeter on defense. You need several of those guys for competition and depth, not just 1 a class.

Gaby gave an update which wasn't really an update on the injury the other day. Said he saw Jaboree at the FSU game and he had a brace on his knee, didn't give further information other then that. That's why Gaby labeled it a serious injury.

Considering Gaby isn't an Orthopedic specialist I'll wipe my buns with his opinion on the matter

I think he'd be more ready as a corner than Pickett. But Pickett can play all over so you get them both and our db's group looks much better. Same if we're able to hold onto Merritt

He should still be ready for start of season. ACL recovery is about 9 months nowadays.
I think he will play eventually next year just kills the next OJ possibility hope. I know we don't really rush ACLs here. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if he took a redshirt next year after playing 4 games.

As a UM fan for several decades, I will not expect any player coming off injury to play in a game until I see them in the game.

UM Health System didn't do the surgery on Jaboree so we should be ok on this one.

Didn't Trevonte do something d$mb to reinjury his knee? I forget the story but he was playing basketball or rode on a bike. If somebody knows correct me
