CB Ethan O’Connor commits to Miami

Miami added one of the best young ballhawks in America with the commitment of Washington State transfer CB Ethan O’Connor.

The 6’2, 175-pound redshirt freshman totaled 32 tackles, 8 passes deflected and 4 INTs. O’Connor is rated the #2 corner in the Portal by On3.

The Irvine, CA native played 755 snaps and appeared in all 12 games for the Cougars. He has been timed at up to 22 MPH and also brings special teams value (72 snaps). A source said O’Connor’s loose hips will allow him to cover all over the field, and his ability to create turnovers is sorely needed on a defense that ranked 80th in takeaways per game.

O’Connor has three years of eligibility. He joins Charles Brantley and Emmanuel Karnley in Miami’s remade CB room. Miami would also pursue a talent like Xavier Lucas if he were able to enter the Portal.

I could use a Spaten or Optimator but for some reason it is hard to find in Florida.

Anyways, nice pickup on O'Connor.
He's a good one.
I've seen those at Total Wine here in St. Pete a few years ago when looking, but haven't checked since then as I rarely drink beer anymore (mostly rum and red wine now). They may still carry it

Need to start hiring some dudes from the WSU staff jeesh.
Schools like WSU, BSU, CSU etc., will always have under the radar talent that slips through the P4 conferences. Amazing how many over rated kids their are nowadays due to the politics in these nike, addidas and 247 camps. From 5 stars to no stars. It is what it is.
