Flip Hyppolite is a must and all out for Flowe.

Even though his speed (4.8) isn’t ideal but his shuttle is strong (4.4), I think Flagg projects as a striker in our defense. His instincts are on point, very similar in style to Jaquan was
Why do y'all think Flagg projects as a striker? Lol there is absolutely zero chance he is a striker. The striker is for DBs or a supreme athletic LB that can match up against athletic TE's like a brevin Jordan. Flagg is not a supreme athletic LB. Flagg is a depth take that will be lucky if he isn't processed out.

Nick saban recruiting
Urban meyer recruiting
That's your only two outliers... Dabo too
I don’t see the comparison. Pinckney was a missile and explosive. This kid is good and makes tackles but I don’t see the explosion to the ball.

He averaged 15 tackles per game 11 games 162 tackles... lmao Beast you tripping.

Look at Jaquan’s style as a player and measurables ... Flagg is eerily similar. Slow straight line speed, solid shuttle, instinctual, highly productive, and a leader.

As such, they compare favorably. Although Jaquan wasn’t a striker per se.

Strongly disagree on how you think of the striker position. If you call supreme athleticism as having an elite shuttle, then we can agree on that... although I don’t think you meant that

Put it like this, none of the LBs we have now are athletic enough to be an ideal fit at striker. Strikers are usually converted DBs that can cover and don't mind getting physical.

Can 3 star players be dynamic athletes?
I ask because if you expect any staff to recruit a class full of 5 star recruits with the record we have put up the last 15 years plus.
We have only won our weak division outright once!
I think we need to win our division way more consistently before we can get back to class full of 5 star players. JMO

I don't think winning creates recruiting. And I think the star system is usually pretty accurate.

3 * athletes can be dynamic athletes. I was responding to the sentiment above my post where somebody was arguing Flagg isn't exactly what we need because he's a cerebral type players rather than an elite athlete. If that's the type of player he is, then he's the complete opposite of what we need, and makes a "teaching" staff pointless.

"I don't think winning creates recruiting"

Well we will just have to respectfully disagree on that one.
I believe consistently putting out a winning team year after year (winning your division, winning your conference, winning bowl games) allows you to consistently recruit at a higher level.

Why do you star whores care right now? Everyone agrees stars are important.... but not that important right now. Rankings will change and players will be processed or decommit and the class will probably look a lot different on signing day, mostly based upon how the season goes. At least the 3 stars we're getting are athletically gifted (which can't be coached) for the most part. Please STFU and enjoy the 4th, **** is getting annoying.

For the most part yes, but I’m scratching my head a little bit at Hodges and Washington. Athleticism at DB isn’t great so far this class.
