Carson Beck

He did go 8/23 for 175 yards and 2 touchdowns………………
but one throw went to George for 85 yards.
And his stats in his other "big game", against Clemson, weren't much better. 24/33 for 151 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT. 4.6ypa and 85.4 QBR.

Just terrible all around except completion % and that's only due to all the short throws.

Half the board thinks Emory is the guy because he broke his arm picking up 3 yards. What’s your point.
What’s your alternative then? Mateer went to Oklahoma and Beck went pro. There’s a reason the staff didn’t pursue other options in the portal. This qb portal class is significantly weaker than last seasons. The same goes for all the returning qbs next season. There’s really nothing the staff can do at the moment expect tamper for a veteran. But who would that even be?

….the guys I mentioned in my previous comment would have been my alternative.

Appears that UM uses this place for some aspect of its evals. Interesting that they aren’t very high on Beck. Maybe UM isn’t either?

Was going to ask this question. Anyone know the answer ? Seems to be a rare football injury
Jake Delhomme had Tommy John surgery - was out for the season (I think like Week 4 onwards?). He started the next year, but he was never the same QB.

That was in like 2008 though so I assume the surgery has come a long way since then.

Honestly Sam Leavitt is 100% the most proven high quality option out of CFB teams.

I just would highly doubt he's leaving ASU.

So again for me TCU/Baylor qb...
