Yes there was check downs and I griped about that but this offense doesn’t scheme many easy layups , it’s not a gimmicky type offense. Btw when i say layup i mean a play where you toss a one yard pass to bowers and he gets a crap load of yac. Breaking tackles and dragging people 30 yards. We had nobody like him , he was a walking glitch play from a position that’s impossible to stop if you have a dude like him. There’s a reason Beck fell off so much when he left.

Just off what I remember, not only was Bowers able to make the first guy miss, he had the tackles that were quick enough to get out there and block for him.

Rivers and Francis were like 50/50, Bell was never quick enough to get there in time.
