You have to be an "idiot" to give a public "starter" guarantee to a guy who has started for two years in P5/P4 in your own conference...over a guy who started 1.9 games more than a year ago?

So Is Mensahs $4M double what he really got? And the Underwood deal seems pretty public and that's $10M (though presumably assuming 4 years so $2.5m/yr but likely escalating so it's only like $1M 1st yr, then $2M, then $3M, then $4..)

No hate because my sports fandoms are all over the place, but Canes/Eagles/Sox combo gotta be a first lol
 
Wondering if this will be like so many other teams where the deal is sealed quickly, or if it will draw out. Don’t think this board could take it lol.

My family wasn’t in to sports. My dad passed when I was very young so I had to venture out on my own. So I fell for my teams by watching them on tv. In the 80’s I loved the Bulls even though they kept losing to the Pistons. I don’t watch the nba anymore or have a dog in that fight , I do watch the playoffs and pull for players like Curry and Jokic. I can’t get over that guys talent and IQ especially with how he can’t jump over a phone book.

I was drawn to the Eagles because of Cunningham and that nasty defense. Brown , White , Joyner, Allen, Waters etc.

Redsox had those teams with Boggs , Dwight Evans , Clemens and Rice. I loved the unis and the park too. Just something about that team.

The Canes was easy. They were the bad boys , you either loved them or hated them. From the first time I remember seeing them ( 1986) I was hooked.

I was also a fan of the fab five and Auburn when Bo was there. He was my favorite athlete back then.
