That just sounds like leverage for them to get a higher payout after the spring. Obviously correct me if I’m wrong, but how often does a proven guy enter for the spring and then leave after it wraps?

I don't think that's truly the asking price. However, when you need something and the person who has that knows you need it, the price will always be a tad higher.

And tbh, it ain't our money so who cares. Even if you're a Canes Connection member like I am, our payment ain't going to Beck lol it's probably going elsewhere

My question is when will he be healthy? Simply cannot miss spring ball. Also he had three games with 3 INT's last season. Damaged goods that turns the ball over does not excite me. The great equalizer is the turn over.

I'm not sure it's wise for us to count our chickens on Beck just yet. I know you've mentioned Drones as a backup plan. I think more of my concern is due to desperation mode we're in with what we have in the room currently. The SEC teams can pay and also provide what Beck is looking for in regards to playing for a contender. Any concerns with Bama or Ole Miss?
