Spring Ball hype train will have him fully healed and better than Cam...so nothing to worry bout brah..What’s up with his injury though?

CIS SAYS HE SUCKS!!
2023 season 3900 yard season 24-6
Avg 9.4 yards. I’m not an evaluator to say he’s great.
But no way he sucks.
Doesn’t share the same last name. Mendoza’s grandparents on his mother’s side are both alive.Fernando’s grandfather passed away years ago unfortunately. So I sincerely doubt that was the source. And if that Mendoza belongs to “the large Gables clan” than he is at least a distant cousin of Fernando the QB. I’ll call BS considering the impossibility of said sources being real.
I watched some analysis of one of his Alabama picks. Beck changed the play and one receiver messed up the audible. It was 100% on the receiver. The weird TVD comparisons are off base too. Yes, 12 interceptions is too many for what should have been an “elite” quarterback. 11 of them were in a four game stretch so that’s ugly. But if you look at his overall performances during those games, he really only had one garbage game and it was against Texas. He had a 3 pick game against Alabama where he threw for 440 yards and 3 touchdowns also. He had a 2 pick game against Mississippi State but he also completed 75% of his passes for 460 yards and 3 touchdowns. He had another three pick game against Florida where he completed 63% of his passes, threw for over 300 yards and had two touchdowns.
So during the four game stretch where he threw all but one of his season total of interceptions, his team went 3-1 and only had one ineffective game. This isn’t TVD struggling to complete simple passes against Virginia and North Carolina State. This was more of a case of a dude probably getting a bit overconfident and trying to do too much by forcing some bad throws. He also didn’t throw a single pick during his last four starts so it’s not like he fell into some kind of turnover funk and never regained control again. It’s also a dude who only threw 6 picks in 417 attempts in 2023 so there’s a pretty good sample size.
Also, huge plus is he’s played in some very big games and tough environments. I know some lament missing Mendoza (and I agree) but as long as we get something closer to 2023 Beck, I think his experience is a huge plus given our schedule next year.He doesn’t suck but he’s had some atrocious games. UF being one. He’s a pretty good to good college qb. Nothing special or elite. Just surround him with talent and a defense we’ll be fine. He won’t need to be Cam.
They do need to be merged. I like this one cause it's got more history.Seriously how many Beck threads does this board need???
Beck > Mendoza and it ain’t close for meAlso, huge plus is he’s played in some very big games and tough environments. I know some lament missing Mendoza (and I agree) but as long as we get something closer to 2023 Beck, I think his experience is a huge plus given our schedule next year.
Some ppl on here were willing to take the buffalo qb in his 14th year of eligibility just last nightThe cam ward effect. Every qb that his been discussed a lot of you have deemed not good enough because how great ward is . That’s crazy lol
If I remember correctly some of those picks were tipped by his receivers as well. The weird TVD comparisons are off base too.
