Anyone know Dabo's average class ranking over the last 3 or 4 years? I doubt it's been top 5, but maybe I'm wrong. He's evaluated great, especially on the DL, and has a great DC and great QB.

Per 247:

2017 - 16th
2016 - 11th
2015 - 9th
2014 - 17th
2013 - 15th
2012 - 15th
2011 - 10th

They should clearly fire him, can't even bring in a top 10 class. /s

It's almost like player development matters, which we should know with Shannon's #1 class from 2008 that only had one 9 win season.

Smith to Bama. G'night everyone.

I just don't understand that at all.

Who can watch that offence and look at the recruiting class they've got coming in and think "Yes, that is the best opportunity for me"?

Ah well, you got punked in the All Star drills for a reason, Smith. Time for you to fade into a oblivion.

Navaughn is a really big dude. He is making my sons gains look insignificant lol!!! I'm very proud of these two kids for sticking with their commitments and being apart of this great class!!!

This!!!

And it took him several years to win the big one. Dudes need to stop living in the distant past. There's no **** fence when you have been bad for the last 15 years.

Yep. And when we were winning we rarely had top five classes. Our average ranking was about 10. Some of our highest ranked classes were our biggest flops. This class addresses plenty of needs with quality talent we can win with. One more CB and a healthy stud RB (Thanks McFarland!) were the big shortcomings.

UM was built on guys like Bandy, not pvssies like Henderson. Bandy is shorter and slower than Henderson, but I'd take him 100 out of 100 times over that guy.

UM's a gritty urban program built by guys like Highsmith and Bratton and Eddie Brown, not flighty flaky facquits who wear tight jeans and take a ton of selfies.

**** straight. If we hit on Bandy, Dean, and the o-line in this class and Walton stays healthy we should expect to be playing Clemson for the ACC championship game next year. Neither Edwards or Henderson were likely to factor in that for 2017 nor McFarland for that matter. They are misses in the long haul possibly, but that can be made up in 2018. I just wish we would target a few more recruits as flaky as these kids are. IMHO that is an adjustment Richt needs to make recruiting down here vs. what it was like for him at UGA.

Again, solid but disappointing class. No different from Golden. Nine-win team two years from now

Hard to value your opinion if this is the read. This would be an A+ class for Golden. While we missed on several key guys, the players that signed are top to bottom legit players of varying degrees.

Check your facts. The bottom line is, Golden wasn't that horrible of a recruiter in his first full class (2012). He had a top 10-11 class. He signed Tracy Howard, Malcolm Lewis, Tyriq McCord, Duke Johnson, Deon Bush, Ereck Flowers, and Preston Dewey. All of those names were rated four stars or better by ESPN and two years later we won nine games. It was a very solid class but outside of Duke, who was really a difference maker? This class is similar. Richt, I believe, is a better game day coach but recruiting-wise, they're about the same.

Listen, I'm different from most of you cats on here. I'm a bottom line kinda dude. I'm not interested in the coastal, I'm not interested in the ACC, I want the crystal ball and the golden megaphone that we call a national championship trophy. I'm not gonna blow smoke and pretend like this class is some sort of game changer, it's not. You should not lose four out of five top sofla dbs to those c*nts in Gainesville. Just shouldn't. I understand that McFarland got paid by Maryland but you can't be put in a position where he ****es in your mouth the way he did after months of being a silent commit and not have a back up plan. OL was a good haul and you landed an elite recruit in Donaldson and nice player in Gainer. I'm not as high on Herbert as recruiting services are. I thought we did as good as we could at receiver but Devonta Smith not even giving us the decency to attend a visit was discouraging going forward. Cornerback was a need position and while I think Bandy was the best corner in south Florida, and Dean has good size and speed, you needed another guy with speed. Henderson hurts, Edwards....Not so much.

They are not the same at all. Golden best class had a ton of dudes who were not miami caliber. The reason the class was ranked so high is because he signed 30+plus players.

You cant point to one player in this class and flat out say they are not miami caliber.

He has never out recruited Jimbo and yet is only 3-4. He earns his checks on game day, despite the occasional bone head call.

Every year we find the 2-3 players we miss and hinge the class on them and them only. Every **** year. Neither CJ Edwards Davis or Wilson were gonna be in our top 5 prospects. There are guys we got that would have been actual huge misses. Vaughn has enough crank for all you to obsess over. Start there. Stop saying UF beat us for ONE POSITION. We worked them for all others. No one wants to mention that? We have just resorted to hinging this class on what we didn't get. Stop it already. This game is won in the trenches and UF AND FSU COMBINED didn't have the OL haul that we did. We took the top 2 Qbs of all three schools. We took the best WR in Thomas of all 3. Look at what we did do and stop saying this class simply sucked because they took a few corners from us. We got enough for Rumph to work with. He and Manolo will make these guys succeed. Enjoy it.

God bless, brother. Proud day for you and our guys Steed and King Don and the rest of this class of UM men.

This program was built on real men like this and Bandy, not wishy washy, trolling, flaky, 352-loving, selfie-taking, tight jean wearing pvssies like Henderson. If you ain't with this U, then I got nothing but hate for you.

You can throw Thomas in there too.

I tried not to get too excited about him after seeing his highlights because y'know these things don't work out for us usually.

He'll be an NFL player in 3 years time. You don't see many people that can move like he can. He also handled his recruitment like a pro and you know he's not backing down from anyone in a fight.

its all fun and hashtags...till you realize Randy Shannon and Uf came down here and grabbed Marco Wilson, CJ Henderson, Brian Edwards while he played a cross word puzzle.

We had a need at cb...in a state LOADED to the Brim with cbs...and we got caught holding our d*ck with TWO kids that already decommitted. I mean how green can these dudes be in the recruiting game?. I knew both kids were longshots..and I have no connections to the kids.how the **** did they not see?. there is no such thing as a SILENT.

Less than 4 days ao the board was laughing at UFS class...and they strolled down to south florida and grabbed 4 kids...lmao

This x1000. We got a good class but the turds took 4 dbs that were on our board and it didnt even seem like they were trying. And they have a **** coach. ****.

Thomas is going to be a terror. He's going to walk in here and start scoring TDs right away. He's going to be an absolute monster for us.
