Canes vs Gators Elimination game

I've enjoyed this season more than any other since 08. It's been successful and fun to watch, no matter when or how it ends. I could not possibly be more excited for tomorrow. Saying that, I still have a bad feeling that I know exactly how this ends based on the recent history of all things UM athletics.

Not very hopeful. We are not hitting that well right now. I don't see how we shut down the gaytes bats especially two games in a row for them. Probably going to get blasted.again unless something dramatically changes.
 
Alex Faedo for the Gators and Sosa for us. Faedo is a freshman I think so let's hope he freaks out.

Where has it been released that Sosa is starting? I looked on Twitter on Morris/Hurricanes Baseball's accounts, nothing there when there normally is.

Canesport just reported that the Canes SID said that Sosa would start. I hope the get 3-4 good innings out of him. 5 would be great.

That hurts me. Every single morning I wake up wanting to be the fan you want me to be. How did you learn the art of being a true fan? Are there books or did you just do a Google search? Any piece of advice you'd be willing to offer would be greatly appreciated. I clearly can't continue down this path if you are unimpressed with me as a legitimate badass.

I actually have a good feeling about tonight. We've been hitting the ball hard just seems to be right at people everytime and we haven't been able to capitalize anytime someone gets past 1st base. I think we push a few more guys across home tonight and take it 7-5. Will be fun to watch some of the blue and orange faithful shedding their blue and orange tears tonight (my wife included)!

Not quite sure we'll beat UVA twice consecutively though.

Completely untrue.He could get drilled and we could win. You guys act like we're not one of if not the best hitting team in the nation. So much insane negativety. "We need to play perfect?" Come on get real. Virginia scored 1 run and beat them with there 2nd best pitcher against UF's 2nd best pitcher. We need to just do our thing and if its our day we'll win. Obviously clutch hitting, and avoiding errors are key.

Thompson is due for a big game. He has been hitting the ball solidly, just seems every time it happens to be just a little too far or a little too short to get by the fielders. This would be a great time for some to start dropping into play.

I think the general concern is Miami hasn't played great baseball very often in the last few weeks and they've still won due in part to the competition. IIRC 2-25 with RISP is pretty ugly.

Let's hope they perform up to their potential tonight!
 
If it is close, I think the edge goes to UM. We seem looser and the pundits expect a strong bounce back game from the "gaytas". If we lose focus for a period of time, it could turn into a 5+ run lead for the bad-guys. Six good innings from Sosa and I think that we win.

If we win, we have Suarez against UVA on Friday, and I really like our chances then. The reality, however, is that UF has a stronger team. These gaytas look formidable. I am still in shock about the UVA game!!
