Probably go McFarlane 7th and Walters 8th (hasn’t pitched in 8 days) unless something changes.

Fellas I’ve watched enough baseball around the country. This team doesn’t really resemble the elite of the world. We just don’t have it at the plate in comparison. We are an easy out just too many at bats. Sucks but it’s the hard truth. Other teams battle you every pitch and make getting outs a chore

The pitching was elite for a while and the hitting was adequate. Now, both have fallen off.

It really seems as if, annually, we are lucky to win as many as we do. I’m being completely serious. I watch games and think other teams just look so much more competent year after year.

It's such a contrast to what GT does.

You really have to look at the coaching and recruiting.

GT is always at the top in hitting and power. That’s not by chance with a coach that’s been there nearly 30 years.

I don't know what our hitting philosophy is. It's hard to watch sometimes.
I’m very ****ed off right now but I will say this. GT’s coach has been there like 25 years and has been to the CWS 3 times. It’s doesn’t usually work out for them.

Because they have annual pitching issues

I admittedly don’t watch as much UM baseball as football and basketball, but a question to my knowledgable friends.
Where are the future MLB prospects on this team? The fielders and pitchers look small and athletically unimpressive relative to who UM used to have on the field. I am not saying this is not a good team and good players. Is this all because we stopped using “supplements” or are we just not successfully recruiting future pro players?

They all look out of shape too. Need to look into what we’re doing with nutrition

I hope that trend ends. Don't forget, this is a young team. I think there's only 2-3 juniors. The pitching is going to be really good. I'm more concerned about the hitting.
