This **** short porch is killing miami so far
He flew past the bag.Well, you wouldn't slap a tag on him on a force play.
The base is openI’m still hitting White here.
Hope he's not hurt, and yeah he made an effort, but truth be told, was far far away from a "great effort".Dang it. That was just ugly for Gaby. Great effort.
When you realize, and he did, that his foot wasn't on the bag, you would.Well, you wouldn't slap a tag on him on a force play.
He flew past the bag.
With his relatively limited athletic ability, I don’t know there was anything else you could expect him to do.Hope he's not hurt, and yeah he made an effort, but truth be told, was far far away from a "great effort".
Sigh. Hindsight. On 9999 out of 10000 force plays the fielder doesn't put a tag down just in case the guy overslides the base. When you realize, and he did, that his foot wasn't on the bag, you would.
Looked (after several reviews) he got to the ball, didnt have to really leap more than a bit, and the ball was in the web... he just needed to close the web a bit harder. But yeah takes some ability we may not have in right field, agree with ya.With his relatively limited athletic ability, I don’t know there was anything else you could expect him to do.
And it was just a horrible play by Dorian - Pitelli makes a great play and a perfect throw, and you can't keep your foot on the bag? It's the simple stuff that always seems to come back to bite us.When you realize, and he did, that his foot wasn't on the bag, you would.
