Really not that long ago if one is currently in their 50-60s....these Miami-Dade teams were good too, really competitive with the UM teams. I remember one of those teams had several classmates from Hialeah-Miami Lakes HS, which won several state titles. Same JUCO that had Oddibe McDowell who later played at Arizona State and later MLB. I think John Cangelosi was another one on that squad.
