Our New pitching coach got hired away faster than our old pitching coach.

No offers? Maybe he had plenty, but didn’t entertain them.21 years and counting and still no outside offers…
my guess is he had plenty of offers at first(2003-2015,16) to go other placesNo offers? Maybe he had plenty, but didn’t entertain them. View attachment 245760
Maybe, but these things have a tendency to get out. Complete radio silence for 2 decades seems a bit unlikely. No offers? Maybe he had plenty, but didn’t entertain them. View attachment 245760
I’m joking bro. Btw - Kendall Rogers put out the short list for BC, and Laz is not on the list fwiwMaybe, but these things have a tendency to get out. Complete radio silence for 2 decades seems a bit unlikely.
Don’t know if this is credible. If true, the new base qualification seems to be coached in the Red Sox organization (cough Cora cough)
I imagine based on a quick look at his bio that he doesn’t have much, if any, recruiting experience?Good dude. Hire will be TBD. It’s definitely not one that gets you super excited. But he is very knowledgeable across all fronts. Our defense and base running should be elite.
Terrible hire. Did not go to Columbus, Westminster, or even Belen. The only Miami connection is the time he flew over during a trip to Jamaica. Not qualified.Good dude. Hire will be TBD. I think he coached at Rutgers for a few years. Good personality though. Could end up being great at it. Parents will trust him.I imagine based on a quick look at his bio that he doesn’t have much, if any, recruiting experience?
Good to hear. JD will need a strong recruiting staff if he has a chance to make this work.I think he coached at Rutgers for a few years. Good personality though. Could end up being great at it. Parents will trust him.
I’d give the hire an I. But I think it has a chance to be very good.
Recruiting remains a huge question - who will lead it?Good to hear. JD will need a strong recruiting staff if he has a chance to make this work.
NJ roots should be a plus if he's at all connected. Fraser used to own that part of the country on the recruiting trail.
Not even Laprogresiva?Terrible hire. Did not go to Columbus, Westminster, or even Belen. The only Miami connection is the time he flew over during a trip to Jamaica. Not qualified.
Arods $$$ I assume.Recruiting remains a huge question - who will lead it?
In what way? Coaches still need to be on the road, establish relationships, etc. to land the right players, no?Arods $$$ I assume.
