That is an awesome article and I learned one thing from it, gotta start making some more friends at the U lol
this guy is not a plan B in any yearIm not making comparisons. Im just parroting some information I saw on the premium board of another site. Lots of local south Florida folks believe we will get Cook if Sony doesn't come. And no this doesnt mean Cook is scared of competition or anything similar. It's simply the recruiting chess match.
Most years, Cook would be an A list guy for us. Given that SOny and Yearby are coming out the same year, this makes Cook a plan B guy. If Sony goes elsewhere then I suspect that Cook will become our Plan A for the 2nd RB spot.

**** bro, I just shake my head when I see all three of their reels. It's insane to think 2 backs of that caliber are on the same team, with Sony 20 miles away. If I am Al Golden I am salivating at the opportunity to sell all three of them on coming here. My main bullet points would be:
1.) National media exposure from the get go. Think of the media attention that THEY AND Miami would get if all three would generate as opposed to all 3 going to separate schools.
2. ) All 3 splitting carries when Duke leaves = less traction on the tires, and more chances for highlight reel home runs.
3. ) Staying home and playing with your boys in front of your friends, family and coaches.
It CAN BE DONE!
saying poor game day experience affects recruiting is a cop out.
EVERY school has its disadvantages and advantages.
Miami offers great education and location and has crappy attendance.
UGA offers crappy education and location but has great attendance.

UGA is not a crappy education by any stretch. and you're delusional if you think these top recruits give a **** about the relative academic rating between UGA and UM. Regarding the location comment, that entirely depends on perspective. a lot of people like the idea of a small town college atmosphere. and i can tell you from first-hand experience, UGA has a beautiful campus, and athens is a great college town.
Don't get me wrong I went to Miami, but live in Atlanta. Athens is a badass town with some hit *** chicks. Most of the top business people in Atlanta also are from UGA.
R u trying to say Athens has hotter women than Miami???
Not in general, but UGA has hotter women than The U. Fact. The top tier at Miami is just as hot, but there are far less of them. Numbers game. Unless you're into 5 foot ****** girls with a northeast accent and a bad attitude that could stand to lose 5 pounds. UM kicks their *** on that front.
he can leave campus to chase tail. he doesnt have to be confined to the campus to get a girl lol
He could go in to the city where he is just an 18 or 19 year old kid trying to pull down top of the line women at nightclubs? Good luck. Reality is most of your time is spent on campus when you are ANY sort of college kid, much less a football player juggling class, practice, film study, study hall, weight room, sleep, etc. You can argue a million ways why Miami is the better choice than FSU or UGA or Ole Miss or, sadly, probably UiF. One of them is not girls, which at best are a push and, compared to most state schools, is a blowout in the wrong direction. I have spent a lot of time thinking about this, especially for 4 years as a student there.

Actually plenty of them care about academics. Matter of fact our last commit mentioned it as a reason why he committed. And you don't think kids who pick Stanford care about academics?
My question is just what is the reason why Sony is all UGA? He hasn't been to the campus in 2 months, he visited UM last month when KC and Reilly committed and soon after said he had made up his mind and i still remember a report while he was at the UF spring game that the feeling was UM was in the lead so why is it all UGA?

If Sony goes elsewhere it will be the biggest miss under Golden. Bigger than the cheerleader and that wannabe 305 dude from last year. Sony has been a Cane for years and to lose him basically at the last minute would be a huge fail. And we aren't even talking about FSU or UF either. Freaking UGA? Can't remember the last time we were in a battle for a kid down here with them. They never come down here.

We lost an OL to them about ten or so years ago. Can't remember his name. He was good. The reason we don't lose many to them is they don.t recruit that much here I think. I don't know if they wanted Allen Bailey that badly. I think now that Bailey was overrated.
Probably because he's going to UGA. Those guys get it right more often than not.
