Can someone explain the UGA rumors?

It certainly is. Sony is the kind of difference maker it takes to go from winning the coastal, to playing in the new bcs tourney. Him bolting s Florida would negatively affect other kids on the fence.

Absolutely hit the nail on the head with the above statement. Sony leaving will send such a resounding, negative vibe around S. Fla that it will take a miracle (or a 10+ win season and an ACCC and subsequent BCS bowl appearance) to keep the "local studs" from jumping ship to SEC teams....

For the people saying we can get Cook. Honestly we have no shot. I know when he committed I said I'd be shocked if he stuck with UF. He is sticking with UF. They hooked his mom up.

I have to think we have a 50/50 shot with Sony. 8 days away so hopefully we get some good news

I just don't get how some people say we don't need Sony because of yearby. Yes yearby is elite. But you need quality depth. People want to give a pass because we got yearby while Alabama brings in 4 quality backs in one class. Georgia had two 5 stars last year. And now they're aiming for the same thing this year. Smh.

Just hope Gus Edwards can be very good. We need a big guy with speed like him. He seems tough and agile.
 
Again UGA is a smaller sized college town. We were told Sony is a big city guy
. Also again UGA is one of the most underachieving programs of the last 25 years.

2 SEC Titles in the last 25 years and 1 BCS win.

They consistently over a majority of that timespan have signed top 5-10 classes.

I've never seen any of the 3 live. Im working from the info available in the marketplace. It seems that our staff thinks Yearby and Michel are the best two of these three. THAT is what makes Cook a Plan B kid. Its not based on raw talent.

The raw talent idea is what will make Cook a Plan A for our staff if Sony chooses UGA.
 
You do realize that if Sony doesnt choose us then Cook is plan B dumbass cause he is not the 1st choice

TIFWW Forbes had UGA ahead of Miami in their last rankings. I think that's retarded but Georgia's in no way a ****** school.
 
Don't get me wrong I went to Miami, but live in Atlanta. Athens is a badass town with some hit *** chicks. Most of the top business people in Atlanta also are from UGA.

The staff wants and would take all three right now, they're all being heavily targeted. There's no A & B just who jumps on board first. Cook has had just as much opportunity to commit to Miami as the other two.

Sony, Cook, and Yearby are ALL 1a guys. We want any and all of them, whenever they are ready. None of their recruitments have to do with each other.

All of the predictions are pure speculation. Even if he commits UGA I expect the staff to stay on him like they stayed on Amari Cooper. I havent seen one quote from Sony himself stating UGA leads. Just opinions from gurus and wannabe gurus.

this. I'd take all three in a hearbeat and so would the staff. AND I'm sure that even if Sony commits to us we will still go after Cook even though it looks like Cook is getting paid.

Cook looks like he may have the highest ceiling IMO
