Camp Notes Day #5

Man...two of the biggest developments I've seen in these videos are Luther Robinson and Jelani Hamilton. Luther looks to be in shape and engaged. Jelani looks to have some dog in him and some will to compete. Jelani didn't look to enthused to engage in these types of combats last year and spent a ton of time playing ring around the rosey, or outright turning the challenge down. This year has been a complete 180. He's going hard after the nastiest lineman on our squad and getting the better of him every now and again. That's a big ******* positive.

Tracy Howard with a nice pick!.... Seems like hes getting his hand on the ball more

"Duke, is it true that when you take off, the paint on your helmet slides back about three inches?"

"Duke, when you make a TD and start to slow down, what's it feel like five seconds later when your *** catches up to the rest of you?"

Aj needs to take off that black jersey and run with the 2s he cant tackle or cover hopefully Jenkins and bush can lock up the safety spots

Giselle is starting to settle down, nice job by her after an uneven performance on Monday.

Kelvin Cain made a **** of a play on that diving INT. His coverage ability gives Coach D some options when he's in there.

Ryan Williams' arm strength looks vastly different from the softballs he put up last year. It's good to see everybody getting better, even the back-ups.

What is, Player Development

I'll take "Randy doesn't have a clue about..." to finish out the category Alex

One thing I notice (and like) is that more and more guys are pulling their pants above the knee

Oh, and it those dudes definitely love the music we play at practice lol

Same arm he's always had. He's just more decisive and stepping into his throws. I've said all along this dude is a pretty good QB and will be our clear cut #2 guy this year. That fake guinea Bobby "Olive Garden" Petrino wanted Williams to transfer to Arkansas, and that dude knows QBs.

Howard is a ball hawk. He's one of those guys who is super smart and dialed in out there. He'll make up for his lack of speed by having a great feel for the game and being smarter than the offensive players.
