Nothing will ever beat being a dad. I’m a girl dad and I couldn’t be more pleased. No matter what happens in your day that little girl will always be excited to see you. Remember that future dads when you weigh family time versus anything else. Nothing will ever compare. My daughter learned to throw up the U and say go Canes about the time she turned two. I did it to her playing around and she got it immediately. Taking her to pin stripe bowl this year should be a great time.

But hold onto your hats and anything else you can get a hold of once they turn 12/13. Wowzers is all I can say.

I have 3 kids (two boys).

You will love it. First you start taking them to games. Then you introduce them to CIS. Finally, you start tailgating with them.

Every phase is precious and worth the agony of being a ‘Canes fan the last 20 years or so.

It started watching games with my daughters this year. They are not really into the games but they have a blast making fun of me and my game watching antics. From the touchdown celebrations to the misery of losing. We have a great time and makes us closer.

when i was in middle school this social studies teacher told us about some lady that had 26 kids.

a smart *** in my class named Robert just said out loud, "man that would suck for the kids, when she dies they get like 26 bucks each." he got detention as a result.

so at the end of the year when he signed my yearbook i asked him to put that quote in there. i still have the book somewhere at my parents house. i will never forget how funny his comment was.

now to bring it full circle that young man's last name was ward. perhaps he is cam's dad. we really can't be sure....
