Don’t give a **** where he gets picked
What I care about is him dropping 60 on FSU
No, that’s not a typo. Your eyes are not deceiving you. This is not Miami Hurricanes Nation fanfiction.
Cam Ward a zero-star coming out of high school is now the projected No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
The 33rd Team released its latest mock draft on Thursday and moved the Columbia High School grad up to the very top. Ward is playing out of his mind and the draft experts are officially buying what he’s selling.
Kyle Crabbs projects the New York Giants to draft first overall and pairing the Miami senior with wide receiver Malik Nabers as the franchise’s next great one-two punch.
"No quarterback in the country is playing ball like Ward during the first three weeks of the college football season. With a dynamic arm and loads of confidence, Ward is seeing the field well and helping the Hurricanes to some record-setting numbers," Crabbs said.
His traditional stats are just as impressive. Ward has thrown 65 completions on 89 attempts, racking up 1,035 passing yards along with 11 touchdowns and one interception. On the ground, he's carried the ball seven times for 46 rushing yards and added another touchdown to his tally.
He still believes there is room for improvement.
“We’re not even close to playing our best football,” he told reporters. “If you go back and really watch the tape from the first game, I would say there was a minimum of ten bad plays just from a quarterback and receiver standpoint.”
That's not fair to Cam. No one posts like Fraggle. No one.The talent difference between Cam and DJ is the same as the talent difference between Cam and Fraggle.
Only man on the planet that wants it to happen for than us is Mario fo sho70+ or Mario’s on the hot seat

I saw that Gator chomp smash
Any means necessary - because at this point it looks like they’ll have a Top 10 pick. Team is a 5-6 win team at best w/o TuaDolphins should do everything in their power to keep him in Miami.
1) thanks for thisAgreed. Brugler is by far the top guy to read if your looking for serious draft projections. He is a little more reserved on Cam and moving him up this far, this early;
Interested in your thoughts on Miami’s Cam Ward. I’ve seen a lot of mocks lately with him going in the first round. — @mlc1994
That’s certainly a lofty projection at this point. NFL scouts thought Ward would be drafted somewhere in the third- to fifth-round range had he kept his name in the 2024 NFL Draft, so I doubt one positive outing against a Florida defense that ranks 106th in the country gave him that much of a bump.
If Ward plays at a high level for the full season, the math would change. But NFL teams need to see it. Last season at Washington State, Ward looked like a Heisman frontrunner in September (16 touchdowns, zero interceptions), but the wheels came off in October as better competition shined a bright light on his streaky decision-making and inconsistent feel versus pressure. But quarterbacks often get better, and there also is no question Ward is playing with a more talented supporting cast than he had last season.
So, my feelings right now about Ward are this: He is great in the RPO game with his athleticism and quick load-and-fire throws; he is a dynamic athlete, which allows him to buy time; he can threaten every inch of the field with his arm. But he also tends to make things more difficult than they should be, escaping clean pockets or drifting and altering his arm angles without reason.
If his decision-making and ball placement stay consistent, Ward will undoubtedly boost his draft grade, but scouts are taking a wait-and-see approach.
Bro I’m about to tell you when that Wing T is ran to perfection it is the most beautiful running offense ever. When I played HS football at Northside HS (Warner Robins, GA) our nemesis, the Warner Robins Demons ran that offense to perfection and won the High School NC with that offense. # 1 team in the country by USA Today (yes I’m old). Bo Nix grandfather was my HS football coach (he’s alive BTW). But that Wing T is lethal if ran properly. Can we stop with the 0 star thing? It's right up there with "Ed Reed was only a 2 star." In the case of Ed Reed, the star system didn't exist yet, so there are differences from a pragmatic standpoint. However, the annoyance factor is roughly the same. Stop with the over the top hyperbole, please.
In the case of Cam, they don't give out "0 stars." Most of the services stop at 3 stars. I believe some sites may have 2 stars, but they're simply unrated if less than 2 stars. He played QB at a small high school that ran a Wing T offense (that's old school 1950's offense for the youngin's out there) where he hardly threw the ball, hence the lack of attention/ranking. Again, please stop with the unnecessary and over the top hyperbole.
Dont forget TVDWay too early for this nonsense. Remember Kayaa was a 1st round pick too

I’m not really knocking the Wing T. I’m pointing out that the Wing T isn’t the most effective at showcasing a modern QB’s talents, which is why Cam was unranked. For high school, it’s a great offense as you mentioned.Bro I’m about to tell you when that Wing T is ran to perfection it is the most beautiful running offense ever.
