He should stay at Miami and show he can build an offense around the next group of quarterbacks he’ll have: Emory, Judd, Nickel (sticks?), and a portal transfer if there is anyone they’d like to have and sign. Yes, I’m not counting Poff in the equation.
Wait for a better situation, like Lashlee. I know he wasn’t kept by Mario, but he was a leading candidate for the SMU job anyway. Or, he took the job before all that went down. I don’t remember the order.
Houston is a better opportunity. Big 12, money and recruits in Texas. He’s familiar with the program. They’re investing in the program and raising the profile. They’re not very good right now but have much better resources than ECU or some other meh-G5 team.
