Has Dmoney or Cribby chimed in on this guy? Do we really not have a good shot? Losing guys from the west would be somehow even more painful in terms of wide receivers.

I saw sun highlights of him shootin dat bih from 3 point range on some highlights. Ain’t he left handed wit dat **** (BIG PAUSE)

When it comes to his recruitment, Miami sits in the best spot because of his familiarity with the school, and his ability to visit since the campus is less than 12 miles from his high school.

What 247Sports is hearing: This recruitment is wide open but he is a priority for Miami, he is a Hurricanes legacy, he lives near campus and he knows the program and the coaching staff well.

He needs to get out and see more schools before his recruitment can advance but the reality is Miami is in the best spot to land Russell, and things will have to change (and they can) for another program to come in and gain his commitment.

From Friday's game, he is very good in basketball: Miami Northwestern’s boys’ basketball team continued to roll as the regional playoffs began this week. Calvin Russell Jr. had one of the more memorable performances of the season when he totaled 38 points, 19 rebounds, three blocks and two steals to lead the Bulls (23-3) to a 79-59win over Pembroke Pines Somerset Academy

Thought this was relevant to Russell’s recruitment. Essentially our two biggest competitors for him allegedly. One school loses their WR coach to the other one

He doesn’t wanna follow on her footsteps. Wants to be his own man. Can still do that at Miami but that’s not a “win” for us
