That's just my feel. Someone who would know said the staff has been expecting him to go public for a while now...it hasn't happened. And I don't think who UF is recruiting at DB has anything to do with it because they're actually recruiting Henderson as a 2-way player and return man. Wade isn't going to UF and Blades is likely gonna end up at USC.

Two way player....return man?? They have Callaway as a primary return man....wr corps is deep with good underclassmen ....no time there either....on paper he would likely have a much better chance to play early at Miami.....at this point Blades hasn't shown any indication of flipping .... according to gator fans they believe Wade is wide open....I just don't see any clear cut pt for Henderson at UF like their coaches want him to believe...not to mention talented players returning like Putu..... Gardner etc...

Callaway is one player, and UF's receiving corps is hardly deep lol. It's Callaway, Cleveland, and then a bunch of jags. In the secondary we'll lose Maye, Tarbor, and Wilson and it's being reported that there's a very strong possibility that Dawson and Harris also leaves. If that happens we'll be replacing every single position in the secondary. And right now we only have 2 true corners committed in Marco Wilson and Blades but even the staff isn't expecting Blades to stick. So we essentially have 1 corner committed. Shawn Davis is a FS and all the DB's left on the board (Stewart, Hunter) are safety prospects. If that plays out our corners next year are basically Gardner and nobody. Putu is not an SEC caliber corner and may transfer. That's why they're looking to take as many as 6 DB's.

Most gator fans believe Putu is going to battle for one spot....I seriously doubt Dawson leaves early ...... Powell, Hammond and Swain aren't JAGs...lol Also, Blades said he's solid.....until he flips or goes public it's all pure speculation....

Those UF fans are idiots then because Putu was running like 4th string before injuries got him more PT and he hasn't played on anything but specials since like the 3rd game, the talent just isn't there. He was a late fill after the staff missed on more coveted DB's. As to Powell, Hammond, and Swain...what have they done? Powell would not even be starting if Massey didn't get hurt. He's an ok slot receiver, nothing more. And Hammond and Swain are both possession type receivers, those guys are not #1s or #2s on any good offense, hence them being JAGS. Doesn't mean they're bad but they're not high caliber receivers either.

I forgot about Massey another returning wr... Hammond and Swain are very talented frosh to call them JAGS doesn't make sense at all... especially with QB problems all year...it also takes time for some kids to learn those little things that matter. Not to mention Green and other wrs coming in.... at CB Marco will likely have the upper hand ( Quincy) over any frosh IMO.....CJ has a much better shot at Miami its easy to see..... there's PT at WR, DB and return man...

Shaq is not a good recruiter by nature.... He feels that you should make a decision that is best suited for you and stick with it after you make your decision. I told Shaq its not that simple for everybody... I said show the kid a good time and tell him why you chose Miami... and after 1 season tell him why you think it was a good decision. Telling the truth how it was enticing talking with Nick Satan, or how nice the facilities where at Auburn and Florida but ultimately you decided to play for the team where you felt at home... And how you would rather be on a team where you were needed versus where you wanted... I told him not to be shy to tell of his accomplishments and accolades he achieved not to brag but make success a reality at Miami... and most importantly listen to the kid ... there are about a 1000s different thoughts running thru his head be honest and help him make sense of those thoughts/questions... I told him that Miami could really use this kid and he could help you win.
