bye bye byrd.

We are going to let a decommit over shadow the great commit we got from Romeo Finley...Let that Byrd go!

He left Miami for a man. Nuff said.

Loving Hartley right now.

Just wait until reality sets in...#regret

Ridiculous tweet. Kid will probably have the same kind of time at UT as he would have had at UM. Whether you are happy and successful in college is usually dependent on you yourself.

Good luck to him.
Although it still would have stung, he should have de-committed from his COMMITMENT.

Why is anyone surprised? His recruitment reeked of bullshyt for the last week and a half. Definitely strung everyone along. Don't know what his beef is with the U, but this was definitely pre-meditated. Maybe he thought this was payback for not going hard after Fils-Aime.

****e move any way you slice it.

Everyone is mainly surprised because this dude has been all about the U since he committed a long ways ago, even after the Mark Richt signing he had been throwing up the U. Now, all of a sudden he thinks UT is a better decision for him and his family. Laughable.

You're right but we're mad at the timing and the damage done late in the game at a position we need help in. I became concerned when you said the conversation had changed between Byrd. Shaq and Richards. That said, like you pointed out...we got Romeo Finley, a huge get who wants to be here and we have a good shot at AR15 tomorrow. Those two make up for it and we could get some more positive surprises tomorrow. Thanks for all you contribute.

Sheeeet, you're right.... there's no what in the name. I must be suffering from Byrd fatigue and need to put the phone down. Tomorrow brings better news.

I think were all suffering from that dyck move. How you carry yourself is really important in life. I think this kid is going to regret he followed his friends dream and not his, but that is what you get for being a follower and not a leader.

I'm with you, lets hope tomorrow brings better news.....mainly AR15, Carter, KJones, with a flip of some CB

Not to mention he was committed to Florida at one time. Kid handled this like a total a hole.

Expect nobody to commit tomorrow. That way you will better appreciate the kids that do.

I absolutely HATE Naples High. All their kids go to the $EC. I swear there's something going on with the coaches there and some $EC bagmen. They keep getting bigger and better facilities over there. Just know the money's coming from Emmert's homies.

Or Ohio State... Yeah, **** Naples High!!!

**** all of this "good luck to byrd" posts. i wish everything awful just short of injury to happen to him. get torched in practice, get shirted, get stuck on the bench behind better corners in the following years. the only good luck he needs is finding a job with whatever useless degree he gets from that **** school.

Aside from injury, I agree that this kid deserves whatever blowback he gets from fans, critics, etc. Part of being a man is conducting your behavior in a respectful and ethical manner. This is just an example of poor character and bad judgment. It reflects poorly on him and his family. To make a big show of it all online further demonstrates his ignorance. These things always work themselves out over the long term.

Good luck to the kid but he's making a big mistake. Went to bed thinking he just announced for Tennessee on Twitter just to ***** with them. Hope I'm right.

After seeing all these other messages I guess not.
