Where would this stadium be?? Marlins park is on the site of the OB

Signed, I am looking forward to the design concept, due to the simple fact that if this idea is simply planned both venues can take advantage of existing parking and infrastructure, which would drive construction and maintenance cost down.

Can we peg this thread at the top?

This. Are they saying to renovate Marlins park? Or knock a couple of year old stadium down to build a new one. None of it is feasible, imo.

We will not have our own stadium anytime soon

Only hurricane fans would stop someone trying to make a necessary change.

Stephen Ross is more of the reason and a 25 year lease. We won't buy out coaches, how the heck would be buy out the lease.

As you can see, it fits right next to the other stadium. Parking lots are already built. The City already has public transportation from the MetroRail as well as the City Trolley. It would even be cheaper for the University in shipping students from Campus to the Stadium. The design even looks somewhat as if you are looking into a Hurricane. Best option that we have as fans.

All I see in that rendering are images of a soccer stadium and a baseball stadium..somethings fvcky here.

Cane Dynasty, there is nothing fvcky going on here. Here are our options:

1)Team up with MLS and have them build with UM a dual purpose stadium at OB site.
2)MLS goes to FIU's site....NO UM
3)Tropical Park...will never happen because UM does not have the funds to build a 40K seat stadium by themselves.
4)On campus stadium....look at point 3.
4)Stay at SunLIFE forever...current option

The strategy is simple. Gather as many valid signatures and show to MLS that there is a demand. They don't believe we have a true Cane Nation. I suggest we show it to them.

If you agree, sign and please help distribute.
