Yeah and pre-Ward we lost half our games with superior talent under Mario.Yes, he loses half of his games with little talent. Half the coaches in the country are doing that.

Guy who was dismissed with a 5-6 record before the end of year four. It’s like Mullen at Mississippi State
"Under Mario"? Were you asleep from 2003-2021?Yeah and pre-Ward we lost half our games with superior talent under Mario.
It would be more telling to see what he could do at a higher level program like FSU or UF. I’m not on the Key bandwagon but I think he’s done a good job with what he’s working with. Then what is the evidence that he is a good coach? He certainly hasn't elevated Georgia Tech above what they have always been.
He allegedly has "no talent", but he is also 17-14. So it seems like he's basically holding serve.

He did an excellent job at MSU and took the gators to two NYE6 bowls. When was the last time we played in a NYE6 bowl?Guy who was dismissed with a 5-6 record before the end of year four.
give Key credit, but remember his Line is the most experienced in terms of starts in college footballI think its way too early for the bigger schools to look at him. Brent needs to win 8-10 games over there. That's not happening this year with the injuries at QB and their tough schedule. Ga Tech best outcome is at 6-5 for this season

Pat Hill was a fearless ****. I'll always respect his scheduling, but those schedules also crippled Fresno. What Petersen, Hawkins and Koetter did at Boise was more sustainable: Play one big game per season(Preferably week one) and then run through a midmajor conference. Rinse and repeat. The Pat Hill days on Grassy were classic. Those dudes were convinced that he was going to win 10 national titles at USC.
And then left the UF program in shambles, getting fired with a 5-6 record in year four. Is that what we want with Key? Two or three losses for two years and then fall off the map?He did an excellent job at MSU and took the gators to two NYE6 bowls. When was the last time we played in a NYE6 bowl?
Our talent according to 247 was the best each year in the ACC Coastal. Even if you can argue UNC was better, we lost to a lot of teams with inferior talent. There was a definite coaching issue."Under Mario"? Were you asleep from 2003-2021?
And, no, we didn't have "superior talent". That myth should have died ten years ago.
Makes you wonder. It's almost like some of our "Fans" aren't fans at all ,nor do they actually care about the program. They just want to complain or troll.Boy porsters who were no where to be seen for months sure have been posting a lot today. I wonder what changed
/not talking about OP

I don’t want key . I’m saying he’s done more with less like Mullen did at MSU. Mullen’s a weird dude and had enough at UF and essentially quit. He also didn’t want to recruit. Mullen’s highest and best use is as an OC under a super alpha super superior HC like Urban or Saban. And then left the UF program in shambles, getting fired with a 5-6 record in year four. It’s not just him. It’s all of them including him. There has been some kind of issue for 22 years. Putting it on Mario is beyond stupid.
And both guys are right where they should be re Stoops and Key.he's basically Mark Stoops. he gets a good win here and there but also has some bad losses which people brush off bec its GT. Also counting wins against ranked teams when you play them and not where they are ranked at season end is so dumb. FSU is 1 - 9 and is counted as one of the 5 wins against ranked teams smh.
Stoops is smart enough to not leave Kentucky. He knows he has a lifetime job as long as the wheels don't fall off. Key is a GT alum, he isn't going anywhere, because he knows that being in bowl games and a tough out is more than acceptable there. And both guys are right where they should be re Stoops and Key.
