Breakout player on offense

With Olson being a RSFr. QB expect the TE's to catch a lot of short balls. With that being said, Beau Sandland will live up to his JuCo hype and shine this year.

Been awhile since we've had as many potentially quality options for question like this. Especially so on defense.
Answer is QB, I pray!

So you all gone sleep on Yearby

Yearby is really forgotten right now for some reason. hopefully he wakes us up this season

He hasn't played a snap of football yet. Kid is going to be good, but can you really breakout behind Duke Johnson.
Duke Johnson broke out behind Mike James with limited carries. Of course he got more as the season went on, but while James was the starter, Duke was the breakout Freshman playmaker.

If Duke can be Duke, handle about 5-8 more carries/game, and Yearby can chip in with 3-5 touches a game and give us a few explosive runs to spell Duke...then yeah, you can consider that a breakout...especially if he gets a few touches on Special Teams, and can replace what Duke gave us on Kickoff Returns so we don't have to use Duke there anymore.

I like Yearby a lot and think he'll be the #2 behind Duke. If he has a Duke like freshman season and Duke is Duke we are going to be in great shape on offense.

Herb waters has the size speed and moves to be everything you need in a playmaker that's my pick homestead herb

I don't think we need the QB to be the break out player, just to be solid and not make too many mistakes..

Phillip Dorsett (remember him?)

or

Gus Edwards (we need him to dominate on short yardage plays and at the goaline)

Agreed. Still think we need more depth, but Yearby is the absolute truth. He's not going to go 80 or 90 yards because he's not that type of back, but he'll rack up on the 8-20 yard runs, move the chains even in short yardage situations (crazy elusive/quick feet), and then break off a long run. I think he's going to be a nightmare for defenses to scheme against. If he and Duke are on the field it should be pure comedy to watch.

/Please pass the ball to our running backs in space.

Yes. Praying either Kaaya or Olsen will step up. Also, Stacy is already on everyone's radar. I think he'll take a huge step this season if our QB can get him the ball.

I have a feeling it's gonna be hard to keep this dude off the field. I really like our backfield right now.
