That is a tough schedule.
In many other years, I would be all about that schedule quirk where we get a bye before and after FSU.We only play 4 total road games, so gonna be tough to play 5 of the last 6 away from home.
We play 3 of the last 6 away from home.
At SMU
vs Cuse
Vs NC State
At VT
At Pitt
The schedule is tougher than last year but it sets up OK. The only things I don't like are BYE-FSU-BYE so early in the year, and because of that, we play 6 consecutive Saturdays to end the season.
Also, although we only get 4 road games, 2 will likely be in the cold and they're to end the year, in Blacksburg and at Pitt.
This is dumb to do without seeing the final roster, but if we beat Notre Dame, I think we can definitely win 10 games.
My guess is Vegas will set the total at 8.5.
I agree. Weird thing is, North Carolina has the exact same bye weeks as us.In many other years, I would be all about that schedule quirk where we get a bye before and after FSU.
But FSU has a long ways to go and I think one of those byes would be better served later in the year.
It is what it is.
TG weekend games over the last 7 years (no TG weekend game Covid year). We only play 4 total road games, so gonna be tough to play 5 of the last 6 away from home.

Just checked out the average temps for those towns on those dates.lol yall act like it’s gonna be 10 degrees in Pittsburgh in November.
Lmao wtf kind of schedule does SMU have. Baylor and TCU are their marquee OOC matchups.
Not quite Vegas but FanDuel is 8.5 and the over is -150My guess is Vegas will set the total at 8.5.
DraftKings has it at 9.5 after schedule release. Not quite Vegas but FanDuel is 8.5 and the over is -150

Depends on how the conference plays out. This is a much tougher schedule than last year but we had an easy schedule last year. That all said, I dont think the SOS will help us as much as you think.Tough schedule, especially the first 6 opponents. Then end the season with 2 road games. If we go 10-2 with this schedule we’re in the playoffs
