Penn State was a 11.5 favorite? It played out like it should have. Boise State was outmatched

for sure. boise still coached their asses off, especially defensively. after the first quarter, they brought the house all game and made Pedo St to make plays. no blown coverages, just good football and they lost.

I don't understand why Barry Sanders' bowl yards don't count. You just take the regular season total and add the bowl yards. It not rocket science.

Its actually a good question. Cause Penn State offense did nothing against SMU. It was SMU imploding on offense that gave Penn State the game

true. Both sides had dumb penalties and some questionable playcalling. Boise nearly ended it with errors early on.
But they hung in there - I don't think they were manhandled in the trenches at all. Their DL handled Penn State's OL , sacking Allar multiple times.

PSU's defense was more of a factor - they stopped Jeanty for the most part all night, stacking the box with all number of bodies. He finally broke off a couple of runs around the outside late in the game.

He missed the record by 27 yds in the end.

Too many bad penalties and missed red zone opportunities for Boise.

Will be interesting to see how PSU does against either of their next opponents: ND or UGA

I don’t trust Allar-He will get you beat at some point-

PSU is loaded with NFL talent-
